ObjectiveThe purpose of this study is to design a nursing intervention program based on Roy’s adaptation model theory for patients undergoing joint replacement,and to explore the influence of the nursing intervention program on the daily living ability,psychosocial adaptation,quality of life and hospitalization satisfaction of patients after joint replacement,so as to improve the daily living ability and psychosocial adaptation of patients.To improve the quality of life,nursing quality and patient satisfaction,and to evaluate the nursing effect of the nursing program in patients with joint replacement.MethodsThis study from December 2017 to October 2018,100 patients who met the inclusion criteria for arthroplasty in the joint surgery department of Tai’an Central Hospital were randomly divided into experimental group and control group with 50 cases in each group.There were no significant differences in gender,age,occupation,marital status,educational level,family income,religious beliefs and family structure between the two groups(p>0.05).The control group was given routine nursing care of joint surgery,while the experimental group was given routine nursing care based on Roy adaptation model.Before discharging from hospital,the patients were assessed by daily living ability scale,quality of life scale,psychosocial adaptation scale of patients’ disease and satisfaction scale of nursing service.The effects of the two nursing interventions were evaluated by SPSS.20.0 statistical software was used to analyze the data and compare the scores of each index between the experimental group and the control group.Results1.A total of 100 patients participated in this study(50 in the experimental group and50 in the control group).The baseline data of the two groups were balanced before the intervention.There was no significant difference between the two groups by statistical analysis(p> 0.05).2.The ADL scale score and PAIS-SR scale score of patients in intervention group were significantly lower than those in control group.The SF-36 scale score and nursing service satisfaction scale score were significantly higher than those in control group.Statistical analysis showed that there were significant differences in the scores of the above four indicators between the two groups(p<0.05).ConclusionsNursing intervention based on Roy’s adaptation model theory can improve patients’ daily living ability,psychosocial adaptability and quality of life through four aspects:physiological function,self-concept,role function and interdependence.At the same time,patients’ satisfaction with nursing work was improved,and the quality of nursing was impro-ved,and satisfactory nursing effect was obtained.
