ObjectiveThe purpose of this study was to construct a continuous nursing model by applying the model of knowledge, information and action in the continuous nursing care for patients with deep venous thrombosis of lower extremities(DVT),and to help the patients to change their bad living habits, establish healthy behavior and good compliance behavior, reduce the occurrence of post-thrombotic syndrome, improve the quality of life of patients, improve patients’ satisfaction with treatment and nursing; At the same time,to evaluate the whole effect of knowledge-attitude-practice model in continuous nursing care of patients with deep venous thrombosis of lower limbs.MethodsFrom October 2017 to December 2018,60 patients with DVT who were hospitalized in Jinan people’s Hospital(formerly Laiwu people’s Hospital)were randomly divided into two groups: the research group and the control group.Continuous nursing was given in the research group, routine nursing was carried out in the control group, and assessed with assessment scale three months after discharge.Results1.The overall nursing satisfaction and quality of the patients in the research group were significantly better than those in the control group(P < 0.05).2.The self-care ability of the research group patients after discharge was significantly better than that of the control group(P < 0.05).3.The compliance of the patients in the research group after discharge was significantly better than that in the control group(P < 0.05).4.The average knee leg circumference of the patients in the research group was significantly lower than that in the control group 3 months after discharge, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).5.The health survey of the patients in the research group was better than that in the control group 3 months after discharge, and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).ConclusionsThrough the practical study of the application of the knowledge-information-action model in the continuation nursing of patients with deep venous thrombosis of the lower limbs,we found that the knowledge-information-action pattern can significantly improve the overall nursing satisfaction.Improved patients’ self-care ability and drug compliance after discharge;By providing systematic knowledge of the prevention and treatment of deep venous thrombosis(DVT),the patients were helped to establish good health and compliance behaviors, thus reducing or even avoiding the recurrence of thrombosis and reducing the occurrence of post-thrombotic syndrome.
