Research And Implementation Of A Serious Illness Fundraising Platform Based On Ethereum

With the development of the Internet,many people now use online crowdfunding platforms to raise funds for medical treatment.The emergence of these online crowdfunding platforms has helped many families with financial difficulties solve the troubles of having no money for medical treatment.Online crowdfunding provides a more convenient and efficient new fundraising model for charity,but with the passage of time,the following problems have also been exposed in the field of fundraising for serious illness:1.On a centralized fundraising platform,the fundraising certification materials are kept by a third-party platform,which poses a security risk,and personal privacy information is exposed by the platform;the fundraising data on the decentralized fundraising platform is directly stored on the chain,which will cause problems to the blockchain storage and communication pressure affect the performance of the blockchain;2.The fundraising funds are directly sent to the requester,and its real use is difficult to monitor.Some people use the fundraising funds for other purposes,which causes netizens to lose trust in fundraising activities and reduce their enthusiasm for donations.In view of the above problems in the field of internet disease fundraising,this paper puts forward a method of fundraising for serious illness based on Ethereum,the key points of which are:1.In view of the hidden security risks of the centralized fundraising platform’s storage of fundraising certification materials,exposure of personal privacy,and the storage and communication pressure of the decentralized fundraising platform storing data on the blockchain,this article proposes to encrypt the certification documents at different levels stored on IPFS.And the hash value of the stored file address is stored on each blockchain to protect the patient’s personal privacy information and realize the safe storage of data;2.Aiming at the problem of using fundraising funds for other purposes and low donation enthusiasm,this article designed a dual smart contract and a love value incentive mechanism.Fundraising funds are managed by the account in the sub-smart contract and can only be withdrawn and used by the hospital,and the main smart contract saves the business logic of fundraising activities and the completion of the calculation changes of the love value,in order to prevent the funds from being used for other purposes and increase the enthusiasm of donations;3.According to the proposed method,a serious illness fundraising platform is designed and implemented on the Ethereum platform.Tests show that the functions are basically realized.Finally,the proposed solution is compared and analyzed with other fundraising platforms,which shows that it is safe and effective.It has certain advantages in relieving the pressure of storage and communication.
