The structural pattern of the network has a major impact on epidemic spreading. The structure of real networks is both time-varying and community-based.On the other hand, many real networks also exhibit multi-layer structures, and the structures of different layers reflect the functions of individuals in different environments.Based on this,we study the influence of community structure on epidemic spreading in time-varying networks. The specific research content and innovation points of the thsis are as follows:(1)The influence of community structure on epidemic spreading and community allocation strategy under single-layer network are studied.Community quarantine has become a fairly common practice in disease prevention and control.Meanwhile,as time-varying networks become the mainstream of research,it is crucial to study the influence of community structure on epidemic spreading in time-varying networks.Based on the classical activity-driven network(ADN),we propose a novel edge activity-driven network model with community structure by extending the definition of activity rate, and consider classical Susceptible-Infected-Susceptible(SIS)mechanism.First,through theoretical analysis,we obtain the corresponding disease transmission threshold expression.Secondly,we propose a community allocation algorithm, and through experimental comparison, the allocation algorithm is able to reduce the risk of disease outbreaks by 15%-40% when strict community isolation is adopted. Finally, through extensive numerical simulations,it is found that the final contagion size decreases gradually with increasing community isolation, and further accelerates when individuals tend to interact almost exclusively with individuals in the same community. This shows that in the process of epidemic spreading, taking strong community isolation measures will have a very effective role in suppressing the spread of disease.(2)The influence of community structure on epidemic spreading in multiplex networks are studied. In the process of epidemic spreading,disease-related information will also spread through social networks, thereby affecting the spread of disease.Based on this,we propose a two-layer edge activity-driven network with community structure. In this model, both the disease spreading layer and the awareness diffusion layer are edge activitydriven network with community structure.Meanwhile,we consider UAU(UnawarenessAwareness-Unawareness)-SIS(Susceptible-Infected-Susceptible)mechanism.First,based on microscopic Markov chain approach, the state equation of epidemic is established and the epidemic threshold corresponding to the model is obtained.Secondly, through numerical simulation,it is found that the community structure of the disease spreading layer will inhibit the disease spreading, but the community structure of the awareness diffusion layer will promote the disease spreading. This shows that in disease prevention and control,on the one hand, strong community isolation measures should be taken, and on the other hand,inter-community information diffusion should be strengthened.
