| Research Purpose:We investigated the current situation of family functioning, coping style, stigma and quality of life in patients after PCI for acute coronary syndrome;analyzed the effects of demographic characteristics, family functioning, coping style and stigma on quality of life;and explored the mediating role of coping style and stigma in the relationship between family functioning and quality of life.In order to provide a reference for conducting an interventional study on quality of life of patients after PCI for acute coronary syndrome.Research Methods:A convenience sampling method was used to select 260 postoperative patients with acute coronary syndrome PCI who attended a tertiary care general hospital in Huzhou City from January to December 2021.General information questionnaires,Family Functioning Rating Scale,Medical Coping Style Scale,Social Influence Scale, and Chinese Cardiovascular Patients’ Quality of Life Assessment Questionnaire were used for questionnaire survey, and questionnaires were collected in a face-to-face format and collected on the spot. All data were analyzed using SPSS23.0 software, and t-test or one-way ANOVA was used for data comparison,Pearson correlation analysis was used for correlation analysis, multiple linear regression analysis was used for influencing factors, and Process procedure was used for mediating effects.Research Results:1.The total quality of life score of patients with acute coronary syndrome after PCI was(70.70±14.89),which was at a low level;the total family function score was(138.78±20.79),which was at an average level;the total stigma score was(56.40±8.24),which was at a medium level;the coping style scores of confrontation, avoidance, and submission were(17.61±4.43),(14.07±2.04),and(9.18 ±2.18),respectively.(14.07 ±2.04),and(9.18± 2.18),respectively.Comparing the coping styles of patients with the national norm, the scores of confrontation and avoidance dimensions were lower than the national norm, and the scores of submission dimension were higher than the national norm.2.The results of the univariate analysis showed that there were significant differences in the quality of life levels of patients with acute coronary syndrome after PCI by age, residential status, education, marital status,BMI,number of comorbidities, time of consultation, duration of disease, and number of stents(P < 0.05).3.Regression analysis showed that time of visit, age, residential status, number of stents, marital status, number of comorbidities, stigma, coping style confrontation, and family functioning were the main factors influencing quality of life in patients after PCI for acute coronary syndrome.4.The results of the correlation analysis showed that quality of life in patients after PCI for acute coronary syndrome was significantly positively associated with coping style confrontation and family functioning and negatively associated with coping style submission and illness stigma.5.The results of the mediating effects analysis showed that family functioning directly affected quality of life, while three indirect pathways existed: family functioning affected quality of life through coping style confrontation;family functioning affected quality of life through stigma;and family functioning affected quality of life through the chain mediating effect of coping style confrontation and stigma.Research Conclusion:1.Patients with acute coronary syndrome after PCI have a low level of quality of life,an average level of family functioning,a moderate level of morbidity stigma, and a tendency to adopt a yielding coping style.2.The better the family functioning, the lower the stigma, and the more coping styles adopted by patients after PCI for acute coronary syndrome, the higher the level of quality of life;time of consultation, age, residential status, number of stents, marital status, number of comorbidities, stigma, coping style confrontation, and family functioning were the main influencing factors of quality of life.3.Coping styles and stigma in patients with acute coronary syndrome after PCI play a chain mediating role in the relationship between family functioning and quality of life. |
