| Objective:(1)To explore the experiences of nurses’work stress related to COVID-19regular epidemic prevention and control.(2)To develop regular epidemic prevention and control nurse work stressor scale.(3)To explore the mechanism of work stress, psychological capital and coping style on nurses’subjective well-being.Methods:(1)Using the method of phenomenological research in qualitative research,30 nurses and 8 nurse managers were interviewed by semi-structured in-depth interview, and the data were analyzed by Colaizzi seven-step analysis method.(2)Using qualitative interview data to form the initial scale of regular epidemic prevention and control nurse work stressor scale, adopted convenient sampling, clinical in-service nurses were selected for the survey of the scale. The data of 369nurses were used for item analysis and exploratory factor analysis, and the data of 851nurses were used for confirmatory factor analysis and reliability test.(3)Using convenient sampling, clinical nurses(n=1444)from 9 public hospitals in Northern Anhui were selected for questionnaire survey. The questionnaire included general information questionnaire, regular epidemic prevention and control nurse work stressor scale, nurse psychological capital questionnaire, simple coping style questionnaire and subjective well-being scale.Results:(1)Four themes were extracted as follow:Environmental factors;organizational factors;personal factors and positive factors in coping with the stress.(2)The regular epidemic prevention and control nurse work stressor scale included 70items and 11 dimensions:job requirements, leadership characteristic, economic factors, colleague relation, career development, role requirements, personality characteristic,nurse-physician relationship, hospital environment, regular prevention and control nurse-patient relationship and family factors. The factor loading of each item was between 0.536-0.821,and the cumulative variance contribution rate was75.997%.Factor analysis showed that the construct validity of the scale was good. The Cronbach’s alpha coefficient of the total scale was 0.982,and the alpha coefficients of the 11 dimensions were between 0.774-0.968.(3)(1)Nurses’work stress was negatively correlated with psychological capital, positive coping, subjective well-being,and positively correlated with negative coping;Psychological capital was positively correlated with positive coping, subjective well-being,and negatively correlated with negative coping;Positive coping was positively correlated with subjective well-being,and negative coping was negatively correlated with subjective well-being.(2)The structural equation model had good fit(?~2/df=4.325,SRMR=0.057,RMSEA=0.057,GFI=0.907,CFI=0.950,TLI=0.941).(3)In the structural equation model, except that the path coefficients of work pressure→positive coping and psychological capital→negative coping were not significant, the others were significant.Conclusion:(1)During the period of regular epidemic prevention and control, the work stress of nurses has indeed increased, and new sources of stress have been generated, but nurses have also experienced stress-related growth in the process of coping with stress.(2)The regular epidemic prevention and control nurse work stressors scale has a good reliability and validity, and could be used to measure the work stress level of nurses during regular epidemic prevention and control.(3)Psychological capital and coping style play a chain-type multiple mediating role between nurses’work stress and subjective well-being. |
