| With the ongoing "Mandarin fever" around the world, Indonesian Chinese teaching is becoming more and more popular. At present, most of the Chinese textbooks used in universities and colleges in Indonesia’s Jakarta was published in China’s mainland. However, these materials are almost general-purpose in both Chinese and English. And they are not the "Country-specific" Chinese textbooks that focus on the conditions and cultures of Indonesia. Through the survey of the Chinese major in eight universities and colleges of Jakarta,"Hanyu Jiaocheng"(the revised edition) and "Xin Shiyong Hanyu Keben" are used in the the elementary stage of comprehensive Chinese teaching in the eight universities and colleges at present. This thesis will focus on these two sets of Chinese textbooks. It is based on the analysis of the results of the questionnaire to the freshmen and sophomores from the eight universities and colleges with relevant theories. Finally, some suggestion will be offered for the future development and the writing of Chinese textbooks for the local Indonesian universities and colleges. This thesis is written in the hope that it will promote the further development of Indonesian Chinese teaching and the widespread of Chinese. |
