The film script My Wish list tells the story of a 28-year-old girl named ’Xu Jiahe’.It includes her self-seeking journey concerning life,career and love.Xu has been working for a small advertisement company since post-graduation.Recently,she was promoted as Associate Supervisor of media operation.However,she has lost passion for work and felt difficulty with handling interpersonal relationship.These days a workplace bullying brought about her reflection on life.She had thought before that it is too late for change at her age until she received a wish list she wrote ten years ago.She notices that she is quite disoriented and unmotivated now.She decides to start afresh with the encouragement of her parents and reconciliation with friends.Maybe she has not already reached her dream,but she has got her foot in the door.The film’s themes involve anxiety and confusion of social freshmen and their attempts to get out of it.The script displays the self-seeking journey with regime psychological change though the incidents relating to life,career and relationship.The script follows the features of a genre film:the first act includes opening,bedding and debate.The second act is made of conflict,turning point and facing up the problem.The third one involves rebirth and endings.The comedy takes various artistic expression forms of’chick flick’,such as coincidence of scene,exaggerated body language,and language humor and crosstalk elements.The script attempts to create a domestic ’chick’ image which more related to the reality and can let audience resonate.Also,the script has some deficiencies,such as deviation and omission when the concept is displayed in certain plots,etc.
