It has been some 20 years,since Dance Sport was introduced into China,Shandong Province has been booming,but the overall competitive level is far from Beijing,Shanghai,Guangdong and other provinces and cities.Thus it is necessary for Shandong Province to investigate the current status of Dance Sport.This paper that deals with the study of Shandong Province Dance Sports teachers,coaches,athletes and amateur training courses,researches the status quo and the factors affecting the development.Reached the following conclusions:1.The teacher’s force is weak,low educational level and inadequate professional knowledge structure.So need to enhance the cultural quality and professional and technical training,strength the supervision teaching standards,development of science curricula,to enhance their standard of teaching and research capacity.2.The age structure of Shandong Province referees extremely unreasonable,extreme lack of high level referees,few opportunities to judge the high level match,Deed to cultivate the younger referee,to establish a good referee echelon,further improving the overall strength of the contingent of judges.3.The low level of adult athletic,the high level of competition of young athletes,need to improve the athletes team,to strengthen the competitive ability of adult athletes,rich multidisciplinary cultural knowledge,strengt professional training of young athletes at the same time.4.Teaching institutions is the main point of social training courses,course structure is not sound,music,physical and other support programmes did not receive attention,the quality of teaching there are still some gaps.5.Dance Sport Association and College link small,very few college students to participate in this campaign.Association should strengthen exchanges and cooperation between the universities.
