As a representative folklore,Qinyang Shennong legends has a long history.It is attached to the local scenery,combined with the local culture,became iconic symbols of local folk culture.In this process,the Shennong legends production landscape is an important path of Shennong cultural reconstruction.In the existing literature,there’s a lot of research on folklore,but mostly concentrated in history,archeology and folklore literature.,focusing on mining and collecting artifacts,changes of legends text,type of folk belief research,rarely mentioned the legendary landscape production,not to mention the Shennong landscape production mechanism,this shows that academia neglects the relationship legend,landscape and local culture construct.Landscape,especially cultural landscape,is often associated with historical events,personalities and events,assume some kind of culture.Legend as a kind of local culture what has obvious regional features,broad social impact,its tourism value and function of economy promotion gets attention by local,cultural phenomenon that transformation of cultural resources and landscape production around legend occurs very frequently.Landscape production based on legend which is the landscape transformation,naming,and even the new reconstruction which make legend’s language narrative as premise of memory and narrative prototype,local academics and developers as main part,buildings,sculptures,billboards,guide words as narrative elements.Folklore landscape production directly contributed to the realization of landscape narrative,it is the internal mechanism promotes existing forms of legends to change.Now on the base of previous studies on Shennong legends,combines the methods and results of conclusions that academics used on Shennong culture study,use the theories of inventing tradition and culture reconstruction,from a new perspective to explore the behavior of that Qinyang product Shennong legend landscape at non-genetic background,to gain a new understanding of Shennong legends study.This paper’s research idea is "field representation and theoretical analysis",based on the field,combining with theories of inventing tradition and culture construction,analyzing the phenomenon of Qinyang’s landscapes production,discusses the paths of Qinyang product landscapes,and cultural connotation of landscapes.In the specific research methods,through literature analysis,participant observation,unstructured interviews,record the way and process of that local constructs Shennong culture.Government and local academics collected and reinterpreted a lot of legends scattered in the folk,published several Shennong legends books,wrote many literary works,proposed new statements of Shennong "Three Ancestors",Shennong era,and the origin of dragon totem,through naming landscapes,made "Shennong alter" and"Baicao swamp" become Shennong Mountain’s symbolic landscapes,made legends attach to the local landscapes,constructed landscape discourse,formed local identity;Transform Shennong cultural resources into landscape,perform landscape physically,construct landscape group as center of "Shennong statue",make landscapes and legends converge,make visitors feel the spirit of Shennong culture intuitively,especially Shennong temple landscapes,they not only show Shennong’s image and spirit,but also satisfied people’s faith need;"Invent" Shennong worship ceremony,hold Shennong festival,construct folk Belief’s ceremony space,showcase the charm of Shennong culture,deliver Shennong’s spirit.The researcher found that,from 1980’s to present,in just a few decades,Qinyang became a certain influence of Shennong cultural sites from an unknown place,this was inseparable with Shennong landscapes production and narrative.Local government and academics used cultural imagination,recreated ceremony scene,enriched symbolism,to transform Shennong legends into landscape,this conformed to the historical trend of constructing "Nation-Country",promoted performances of Shennong worship ceremony and Shennong festival,reconstructed local people’s faith space and local memory,formed Shennong culture with local Characteristics.Through the research,we can conclude that Qinyang Shennong legends landscape production and narrative is the phenomenon of local cultural revival covered by economic,local academics used Shennong legends selectively to product landscape,in order to highlight some characteristics of Shennong.During this process,landscape production and narrative synchronized with legend’s superposition,legend landscape narrative reconstructed local memory,the construction is local build culture space essentially.Meanwhile,there’s some problems in the process of legend landscape production,like homogenization of landscape production,or landscape production separated from Shennong culture,these phenomenon illustrate that there is some danger that deviated from Shennong culture existed in the process of Shennong landscape production,it reflects the common phenomenon during local cultural production in the context of the Intangible Cultural Heritage,inspires the thoughts about returning to the local culture,reflecting the local cultural features in the process of landscape production.
