A Study Of Fanhua From The Perspective Of Literary Geography

FanHua,a book written by Jin Yucheng,was published in 2012.Because of its unique writing style,it has been loved by lots of readers,and also has won numerous awards such as the annual Novel Award in the first Lu Xun Culture Award,and Mao Dun Literature Award.Flowers" with "Shanghai" for writing image,tells the story after the founding of new China to the long history of this great new century,Shanghai and Shanghai city under the historical change of growth story.From the characterization to the plot,from the urban landscape to the regional culture,Jin Yucheng has used his most unique narrative and language to truly recreate the daily life in Shanghai’s long streets and the luxurious life under the city’s neon lights.These ordinary but slightly opposite story scenes and simple and profound dialogue writing style depict a vivid and real historical picture of the development and growth of Shanghai.Literary geography has gradually developed into an important area of literary research since its development in the mid-to-late 1980s.It is a science that studies the distribution,changes,and regional differences of literary events formed by the interaction between literature and geographical environment.It mainly draws on the subject theory of geography and combines literary texts to explore literary creation,artistic characteristics,value significance,thoughts and feelings from the perspective of geographical and cultural attributes.Jin Yucheng’s FanHua is a regional novel.Under the influence of Shanghai’s natural and human environment,the author constructs a unique Shanghai geographical space,showing the regional landscape and urban style of the Shanghai city in the process of development.The work has caused Shanghai citizens and readers resonate with Shanghai’s urban culture.Therefore,in order to better interpret the construction of Shanghai city in Jin Yucheng’s FanHua and restore the real picture of the city,this article intends to start from the perspective of literary geography research,and tries to borrow historical research,text analysis and literary geography Methods,etc.,with FanHua as the text to analyze,from three dimensions:Geography and Author(Shanghai and Jin Yucheng),Geography and Literature(Shanghai and FanHua)and Literature and Author(FanHua and Jin Yucheng).Explore the symbolic meaning of geographic space construction and geographic imagery in the novel,analyze the author’s narrative techniques and aesthetic tendencies,and explore the unique creative value and cultural significance of FanHua.The thesis is mainly divided into three parts,which are composed of introduction,body and conclusion.The body of the text starts from three aspects.The introduction of the first chapter of the thesis expounds the research purpose and significance,research status,and literary geography of FanHua,and explains the research methods of the thesis.The second chapter,from the perspective of geography and author,focuses on the analy sis of the important influence of natural and human geographical environment on Jin’s creation of FanHua.The third chapter,from the perspective of geography and literature,analyzes the geographical space,geographical image and geographical elements in the text of FanHua.From the author’s construction of the lane geographic space,CaoYang New Village geographic space in a complete presentation of the geographical space of Shanghai,to explore the author’s expression of the thoughts and feelings and the construction of artistic conception.This paper analyzes the symbolic meaning expressed by the images of natural geography and human geography,as well as the realistic meaning of geographical elements such as geographical coordinates and hand-drawn maps in the context of time and space.The fourth chapter,from the perspective of the author and literature,takes Jin Yucheng and FanHua as the main points of analysis,and discusses in depth the narrative techniques,creative value and cultural value of FanHua.Jin Yucheng’s Shanghai city writing inherits the writing style of urban literature that replaces grand narrative with daily writing.By shaping many real and ordinary Shanghai people’s images,in the trivial story,he records the urban style of Shanghai’s historical changes and inherits the Shanghai region culture.In a modern society with global economic integration,the unique regional culture of FanHua affects the unique lifestyle,spiritual culture,and literary psychology of Shanghai residents.The "regional" characteristics and cultural value of literature.Conclusion part,summarize Jin Yucheng’s FanHua in the modern history of literature achievements and value.This paper discusses the spatial construction of Shanghai and the inheritance of regional culture from the perspective of literary geography,expounds the inheritance and innovation of urban writing in "flowers of flowers" from the perspective of urban literature,and finally conveys Jin Yucheng’s thoughts and feelings on Shanghai city and his adherence to Shanghai culture.
