Listening textbooks are of paramount importance in the Chinese classroom.With the continuous progress of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,different learners have different needs for textbooks.As a basic textbook for learners at the basic stage,The number of learners is large and the scope is wide,which is more suitable for the study of corpus,new words and question types.Therefore,the author chose two authoritative and representative textbooks:Chinese Listening Course and Developing Chinese Elementary Listening I These two textbooks are widely used and the writing team is excellent.At the same time,they have been tested by teachers and students and time.They are two excellent textbooks for many Chinese as a foreign language.The author examines the subject matter of the corpus text,the difficulty of the corpus length,the amount of new words and word levels,the recurrence rate of new words,the location of new words,and the type and amount of questions.From the perspective of subject matter selection,the contents of the two textbooks are relatively comprehensive and close to life;from the perspective of new words,both textbooks have achieved moderate vocabulary,balanced word levels,and reasonable reproduction.In terms of question types,both textbooks are rich in question types and the amount of questions is moderate.However,what needs to be improved is that the corpus scope of the textbook should not be limited to certain specific scenes;in terms of vocabulary,the amount of vocabulary in each lesson can be balanced,and the recurrence rate can be further improved;in terms of topic setting,voice training and communication training need to be balanced.The expression can be more creative and the scene more authentic.Regarding the compilation of elementary Chinese listening textbooks,we propose the following suggestions:(1)Follow the targeted and interesting principles of textbooks,broaden the scope of corpus,and make the text scenes more diverse.(2)Following the principle of scientific textbooks,the number of new words in each lesson should be balanced and graded,and at the same time increase the recurrence rate of commonly used vocabulary and reduce the super vocabulary.(3)Follow the practical principles of textbooks and organically combine pronunciation training and understanding training.
