With the development of industrialization, informatization, modernization and economic transformation, the contradiction between supply and demand of labor market, especially the problem of regional labor skill structure, has become a prerequisite for restricting the sustainable development of domestic and foreign economies. So,how to measure the skill level of regional labor supply and alleviate the contradiction between skill supply and demand is worth discussing. On the basis of new economic growth theory, human capital theory and labor migration theory,I use ArcGIS spatial analysis, spatial econometric analysis and mathematical statistics to describe the spatial differentiation characteristics of labor supply skill structure and its spatial relevance to China’s economic development.Meanwhile,With the help of the spatial error model, this paper explores the influence mechanism of the skill structure of China’s labor supply, and I use Cobb Douglas production function(C-D production function)for reference, and use fixed effect model to analyze the regional economic effect of labor supply skill structure. The results show the following:(1)The labor supply skill level and per-capita GDP have strong spatial agglomeration characteristics, and the degree of spatial dependence is gradually increasing.(2)Among the factors that affect the skill structure of labor supply, the proportion of technicians is the most significant; The level of skilled labor migration and GDP per capita to explain the structure of labor skills supply is also strong; The degree of local openness and the degree of employment friction are the secondary factors that affect the skill structure of labor supply, the former is the positive factor, the latter is the negative factor, but the influence degree of both on the dependent variable is gradually weakened; There was a negative correlation between damp-heat index, forest index and geographical concentration of skill supply, while the Habitat Environment Index had a strong positive correlation in 2010,indicating that environmental comfort has become one of the factors to be considered in the migration of skilled labor force and the promotion of living conditions.(3)In terms of regional economic effect, the high skill level of labor supply plays a significant positive role in regional economy and can effectively promote regional economic growth, but the effect shows some heterogeneity in east, middle and west;Technological progress is the most important factor affecting regional economic development, followed by fixed assets investment, infrastructure construction, foreign direct investment, the scale of fiscal expenditure, etc. The degree of economic agglomeration is negatively related to regional economic growth, and the late stage of regional development will be unfavorable to the sustainable development of regional economy because of the radiation that hinders the economy from moving to the periphery. This paper can provide theoretical reference for the government and decision-making departments to solve the structural contradictions in the labor market.
