Research On The "Popularity" Of Tian Er’s Novels

"Popularity" is a literary trait that readers expect to see in novels.Popularity refers to the content of novel what the readers love,and in form,popularity inherits the traditional mode of popular fiction,there can also be new and different,but it need to base on the public’s love and acceptance.In addition,it has the entertainment function.At present,the study of Tian Er’s novels mainly focuses on the characters at the bottom of the society,the language of the novel,the narrative techniques and the creative ideas,and so on.There are few monographs that study from the perspective of "popularity".Therefore,this paper takes Tian Er’s novel text as the research object,adopts the method of text reading and literature research,according to the related theory of "popularity ",analyzes the language,plot and characters of the novel,explores the " popularity " of Tian Er’s novel,and enriches Tian Er’s novel research.The paper is divided into seven parts.The introduction first briefly describes the origin of the topic as well as the purpose and significance of the research,then explains the current situation of Tian Er’s novels research,next defines the "popularity ",and finally explains the writing ideas and research methods of this paper.The first chapter mainly analyzes the interest of Tian Er’s novel language,and proves the features of Tian Er’s novel’s language are interesting,easy to understand and close to the popular reading aesthetic through three aspects: " dialect vernacular "," colloquial narrative " and " humor and humour under white drawing ".Therefore,readers can get a sense of fun and entertainment from the language of the novel.The second chapter mainly analyzes plot design,and presents "popularity" through three aspects: "compilation of historical stories and actual experiences","mixture of romance and detective plots" and "comedy telling tragedy plots".Popular stories often happen in life.Tian Er obtained creative materials from historical stories and real experiences,then edited them to make the novel conform to the public’s reading aesthetics.The two traditional modes of romance and detective have been favored by readers since ancient times.Tian Er mixed the two in the plot so that it brought fun and entertainment to higher level.The comedy form tells the tragic plot in line with the reading and aesthetic psychology of the public,this form makes the entertainment nature more obvious.The third chapter mainly analyzes the comic effects of the characters.First,explore the humorous character of the character.This humor is the personality trait that readers expect to see in the characters of the novel,which fits the public’s aesthetic taste.Secondly,discuss the exaggerated action of the characters.Tian Er used exaggerated actions to reflect the comic effects of the characters and attracted readers.Finally,the characters’ thoughts are discussed.The wealth ideas and " self healing" thoughts of the characters are derived from the thoughts of the readers in reality.But Tian Er processed these ideas of the characters to make it exaggerated,absurd,funny and interesting so that the reader was happy to accept it,thus realizing the comic effect of the characters.The fourth chapter is an analysis of the origin of Tian Er’s "popularity" writing.This part points out that Tian Er was influenced by the same line of popular fiction writing and the development of the times,and coupled with the cultural influence of childhood and the writing purpose of making a living by stroke,which made him close to "popularity" writing.The fifth chapter explores the practical significance and inspiration of Tian Er’s "popularity" writing.From Tian Er’s writing experience,we can see that there are various possibilities for fiction creation in real life.In addition,"vulgar" without "elegant" cannot bring the novel’s thought to a higher level,and "elegant" without "vulgar" cannot have a wide audience.Therefore,in the fast-food era,"popularity" writing with "elegance" as the "soul" is the most suitable method.Those "vulgarized" writing in the name of "popular" writing is mendacious,so it should be firmly opposed.On the basis of the summary of the article,the end part dialectically evaluates Tian Er’s "popularity" writing.
