| The purpose of this study was to explore the influence of language representation on depression level and the mediating role of negative cognitive processing bias and perceived social support.In the first study,4786 college students were selected as subjects by questionnaire survey.The depression level scale,negative cognitive processing bias scale and perceived social support scale were used as measurement tools.Discriminant analysis and logstic regression analysis were used to explore the language representation model of depression.On the basis of study 1,a structural equation model was constructed by Mplus software to verify the mediating effect of negative cognitive processing bias and perceived social support.In the third study,three groups,namely,the verbal representation intervention group,the writing-only group and the control group,were set up by experimental method to investigate the influence of language representation intervention on depression level.The results are as follows:(1)frequency of use of nouns,pronouns and modal words can predict depression,negative cognitive processing bias and perceived level of perceived social support.(2)the negative cognitive processing bias in language representation of intermediary role in the process of the influence of depression,perceived social support on negative cognitive processing bias intermediary role in the process of individual depression,negative cognitive processing bias and perceived social support in the process of language representation affect individual depression chain intermediary effect.(3)The language representation intervention was able to restore the depression level significantly increased during the writing activities to the normal level.(4)both language representational intervention and writing activities can have an impact on negative cognitive processing bias,and modal words and nouns can have a greater impact on the level of negative cognitive processing bias.The influence oflanguage representation intervention on individual perceived social support was not significant. |
