| Huang Kan is a famous scholar of the Late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China.He has made great achievements in primary school,literature,and classics.Most of the research on Huang Kan has focused on his academic achievements,but has paid little attention to his literary creation.However,Huang Kan has deep love for poetry and has a rich literary creation.Furthermore,he is a comprehensive poetry master.Facing the blank of Huang Kan’s researching,this article based on the Ci’s social communication of Huang Kan,and then to tracing back to its poetic origin,summarizing its poetry theory and studying the subject matter,the emotional world and the artistic features.Finally,combined with the predecessors’ evaluation and the background of the literary world,Huang Kan’s literary achievements and influences would be reasonably investigated.In addition to the preface,the paper is discussed from five parts:The first part discusses the life and literary experience of Huang Kan,which is divided into four periods:diligent study in adolescence,commitment to revolution in youth,engage in teaching in middle age,and concentrate on academics in later years.Huang Kan has a rich literary creation and a wide range of social interaction.Observation the target of Huang Kan’s social communication,he learned and sought education from Kuang Zhouyi,Zheng wenzhuo and other predecessors,established group and made progress with Wang Dong,Wu Mei and other close friend,and taught and benefited Long Yusheng,Yu Pingbo and other younger students.The second part discusses the poetry origin and proposition of Huang Kan.Based on Huang Kan’s poetry learning activities,such as reading,writing,discussing and teaching,and then concluding that Huang Kan not only learned from the previous generation of famous artists,but also inherits the main views of the Chang Zhou School,which is independent and inclusive;In terms of Ci’s claims,he insists on the theory of "respectful style",takes "nature" as the core of his creation,and takes "chapters and sentences" as the basis of his evaluation,and closely integrates his creation with the trend of the times.The third part discusses the subject matter and emotional world of Huang Kan’s poems.These has a wide range of subjects,including love,journey,objective,scenery,current affairs,inscription,etc.In terms of time,it has spanned the two generations of the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China.In terms of space,it has recorded the domestic and foreign propaganda revolution,the teaching in universities from north to south,the continuous wars and disputes,and the stable life in Jin Ling,which not only expresses personal joys and sorrows,but also shows the changing times.Born under the specific background of The Times,Huang Kan’s Ci is intertwined with the ambivalence of generosity,freedom and depression,jointly constructed the emotional world of "immortal heart and chivalrous dilemma".The fourth part discusses the writing techniques and style characteristics of Huang Kan’s poems.Huang’s Ci is rich in epigraphs,likes to use allusions,and makes good use of color,smell,sound strong word to appeal to the senses and scenery.Therefore,on the basis of inheriting the predecessors,his poems also shows his own style.In addition,his creation can be roughly divided into two periods.In the early,his poems is affectionate and mournful;while the later is implicit.So his creation move from the sadness of the individual to the pain of the great.The fifth part discusses the status and contribution of Huang Kan’s Ci in the history of poetry.Huang Kan reflects the social reality of the Late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China with his creative vision of integrating Chinese and Western cultures and from the perspective of the common people and reality.And he belongs to the group of the Late Qing Dynasty,the Republic of China literary scholars and the second generation of poetry groups,takes over his predecessors and inspires future generations.Huang Kan is the backbone in the transformation of the old and new Ci that cannot be underestimated. |
