The Rural Image In The Novel Of "New Countryside"

Since the new era,with the overall progress of Chinese reform and opening up,the modernization and urbanization movement is gradually changing the internal and external appearance of Chinese rural areas.From the politics,economy and culture of the countryside to the clothing,food,housing and transportation of the peasants,new experience patterns have emerged in the change and development of the times.Local novels have always been concerned about the social reality and the quality of life of the working people at the bottom.In the new historical period,Chinese local novels have observed the dramatic changes in the development of the modern countryside in keeping with the trend of the times.Therefore,following the social transformation of the Chinese countryside,local novels have entered a new development period.The writers hope to be able to write the story of new countryside,new farmers and new villages with new thinking,new ideas and new vision.Based on literature’s perception and discovery of "new" in rural areas and the desire and necessity to express "new",the concept of "new rural writing" has been put forward in academic circles,so that the literary works about writing new rural areas have entered the researchers’ attention field.Chinese rural areas have entered a new stage of historical development,showing a very different image from the traditional rural areas.We need to reunderstand and understand the current rural world with a new vision.Under the call of "new rural writing",the "new rural land" novels try to write a new rural landscape for us on the basis of inheritance and innovation.Among the numerous writers,Yewei and Fu Xiuying are both "Post-70s" local writers.Both of them have real experience in new rural life and deep local feelings.Their works have been published in recent years and are more closely related to the times.In addition,the writer’s attention perspective and expression will be different because of the gender difference,so this paper chooses the works of Yewei and Fu Xiuying as examples to explore the rural image written in the novel of "new countryside" represented by them.In the process of reading the text carefully,we find that the novel reflects all kinds of changes in rural China since the new era,and shows the "new" characteristics of rural areas.This paper holds that the rural image in the novel of "new countryside" presents a kind of literary reality after the author’s artistic treatment and processing.We can’t equate it with the real rural world,but at the same time,the artistic rural image is closely connected with the real rural.It is the writer of "new countryside" who pays attention to the current real life and wakes up people with a strong sense of social responsibility.We should have a clearer understanding of the current rural areas,and devote ourselves to exploring the problems that have not yet appeared or exist in rural areas so as to realize the sustainable development of rural areas in China in the future.In addition,in today’s increasingly prosperous urban civilization,"new countryside" novels focus on the countryside and farmers,so that literature once again undertakes the historical mission of reflecting reality.This is also an important reason why we should advocate the writing of "new countryside".The first chapter of this paper is the introduction of the concept of local novel.The concept of local novel was first put forward by Luxun.Under different background of the times,based on the development and change of social environment and literary creation requirements,its connotation has also changed.Since the new era,the changes in the overall level of social and cultural environment require local novels to keep up with the pace of the times in the aspects of writing object,writing emotion,writing thinking and observation vision,so the concept of "new local" novels came into being.The second chapter is the main part of this paper.It mainly takes Yewei and Fu Xiuying as examples to sort out and analyze the rural image in the novel.Through the close reading of the text,it is represented by the imagination of farmers,rural culture and land The three levels of rural ecology are analyzed in detail.The third chapter is to further think and discuss the rural development in the new era from the perspective of the rural image in the novel of "new rural land".It points out that although the rural image in the novel of "new rural land" is far away from the real rural world,it is the reflection of the writers of "new rural land" on the problems in the process of rural development in China based on social phenomena The significance of vigilance,we should be more sober and objective to see the process of rural development.
