Research On The Image Symbol Construction Of Northwest Local Theme Documentaries

With the accelerated evolution of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation,the magnificent advancement of Chinese-style modernization,and profound changes in rural society,in the modern life pattern of "urban and rural amphibious",the use of images to connect the countryside and people in the scene of alienation has become a desire of people who have left local life to rebuild local values and reshape local spirit.Limited by the constraints of the actual development factors in the northwest region,the research on related local documentary topics still has a long way to go.On the basis of old and weak research,how to explore the different symbolic presentation of the northwest countryside in the media mirror,in order to think about the value of the times reflected in the reconstruction of local culture,condensation of national spirit,and cultivation of core values,this proposition has become an important issue to echo the call of the times,empower the revitalization of local culture,and give full play to the deep cultural appeal of Chinese rural documentaries.First of all,this paper focuses on how to use lens language to reproduce the discursive meaning of Northwest rural landscape symbols,as well as the multimodal characteristics represented by rural landscape symbols,combined with the graduation work "Mountain Deserts",summarizes and sorts out the characteristics of local documentaries compared with general documentaries,and reveals the epochal significance of the creation of rural documentary films in Northwest China in the process of modernization.Secondly,based on the theories of image aesthetics,Pierce semiotics and Saussure’s structuralist linguistics,combined with the methods of case analysis,comparative research and close reading of texts,the construction of image symbols in Northwest rural documentaries is discussed and summarized around the main line of research of "rural scene,rural custom,and rural sound",so as to explore the aesthetic characteristics and image significance of documentary creation in Northwest rural themes.
