From the perspective of Chinese traditional culture,this paper will take the Chinese traditional aesthetic ideology “images abstracting from viewing”,“set up images for expression” as the theoretical basis,the Chinese traditional color “five orthochromatic and five interchromatic system” as the color support,and take the relevant literature cases and the author’s actual participation in the design of the project as a frame of reference,to construct a methodology model of brand color image design “images abstracting from viewing”,“set up images for expression” brand color image design system that is generally applicable to traditional Chinese culture.This system is constructed by systematic theory and methodology,it is an “image” of “color” and“meaning” of “color” system--oriented by “brand”,and it is composed of four subsystems,namely,“viewing”,“abstract images”,“set up images” and “fully express”.To be specific,it is to observe the “natural image” of color,select the “color image” of color,establish the “visualized image” of color,and convey the “imaginary image” of color.The whole process is from “view” to “select”,from “set up” to “limit”,running in circles over and over again.The “images abstracting from viewing”,“set up images for expression” brand color image design system is the newly-born Chinese brand color image design of the existing Chinese brand visualization of the law of practice,but also the international brand development of the Chinese market when the brand color image reproduction of the universal reference.The significance of establishing this system lies in the inheritance of Chinese traditional culture,lies in the modern Chinese aesthetic development;lies in the tracing of traditional Chinese values,and more lies in the creation of modern art design theory.Focusing on the current situation of Chinese design industry,the author of this paper hopes to restore and inspire the beauty and wisdom of Chinese traditional culture through this system,and to find an idealized design mode that resonates with both ancient and modern China with the attitude of cultural identity and cultural self-confidence.
