A Report On The Translation Of Code Of Conduct For Safety Production Of Coal Mine Workers

Coal mine safety has always been the top priority of safety production.On January24,2013,the State Administration of Safety Supervision and Administration promulgated the Seven Provisions on the Protection of Miners’ Life and Safety.In order to earnestly implement the Seven Provisions,Beijing Long Ruan Technology Co.Ltd has formulated the corresponding Code of Conduct for Safety Production of Coal Mine Workers.This report aims to analyze the problems encountered in the process of translation and explore the corresponding translation methods and techniques,so as to provide translators with a few references in this field.This translation report is divided into four parts: the first part is task description,which briefly describes the background and content of the task;the second part is task process description,including pre-translation preparation,translation process and post-translation proofreading;the third part is translation case analysis,which mainly introduces the origin and development of functional equivalence theory and analyze the text from three different aspects with examples,as well as the specific translation techniques adopted to achieve functional equivalence in translation.The fourth part is the summary of translation practice,including the revelation the author gained through the translation practice,as well as the shortcomings that the author recognized.
