A Study On Chinese Narrative Writing Teaching Strategies For Overseas Vietnamese Intermediate Students

At present,there are many problems in teaching Chinese narrative writing for middle level students from Vietnam but research related to this is relatively rare.With literature,questionnaire and interview methods,influenced by their mother language,it is found that there are some problems in the basic knowledge,writing material,and chapter layout of thenarrativein intermediate Vietnamese students’ compositions.In different types of narratives,Vietnamese students have the problems of unclear narrative structure,unobtrusive writing characteristics,and disorderly writing scenes.There are also some problems in Chinese narrative writing teaching such as classroom teaching difficulties,insufficient writing training and untimely commentary.In order to enrich writing materials,international students should read literary works and be good at observing life;in order to arrange composition composition reasonably,international students should examine the topic and strengthen exercises;in order to consolidate the basic knowledge of Chinese,international students should use reference books reasonably and make good use of library resources;In order to weaken the negative impact of mother language on Chinese writing,foreign students should create an appropriate context and develop good writing habits.Generally speaking,in the Chinese writing class,foreign students should record the main points in a timely manner,actively participate in classroom activities,keep their thinking active,and be good at association;in writing exercises,they should be good at discovering their own shortcomings,and implement remedial measures for problems.Teachers can improve teaching in three ways: in classroom teaching,the necessary narrative stylistic knowledge should be taught in content,while the teacher’s leading role should be given play in the means,and cooperative learning should be run through the teaching in the form;in terms of writing trainning,it should be closely related to the actual situation of life and the ability to collect materials in content,and it should be problem-oriented and controlled by guidance in the means,while collective writing and individual instruction could be combined in the form;in terms of composition commentary,it should be concise and the key points should be highlighted in content,and teachers should stimulates students interest and discovers their highlights.The form should be flexible and diverse according to the characteristics of the students.Teachers should teach for different types of narrative.In narrative of describing people teaching,teachers should deepen the students’ perception of the characters,helping students capture the typical characteristics of the characters,and guide students to grasp the emotional main lines of the characters.In narrative of recording events teaching,teachers should help students grasp the elements of narrative,sort out the clues of narrative,and lay emphasis on the focus of narrative.In narrative of describing scene and objects teaching,teachers should train students to grasp the characteristics of scenery,emphasize the relationship between emotions and scenery,and clearly observe the sequence and angle of scenery.
