The International Curriculum for International Chinese Language Teaching has specific requirements for international students ’writing.Lao students’ writing generally has difficulties in teaching and learning,and related teaching experiments are rare.Domestic mother-tongue teaching attaches great importance to writing,with a high proportion of composition in Chinese.In domestic primary and secondary schools,the teaching of writing based on the concept of "one lesson,one gain" has generally been well received.In view of this,the dissertation focuses on Lao students studying abroad.It attempts to find problems through the investigation of the current situation of intermediate Chinese writing teaching for Lao students.Based on the findings,it designs experiments and conducts an experiment of Lao students’ intermediate Chinese writing based on the concept of "one lesson,one gain." Research to explore possible ways to improve the intermediate Chinese writing ability of Lao students.The thesis is written in four parts.The first chapter presents questions and explains the research status and research plan.The second chapter is the status quo survey and problem analysis.The third chapter is the teaching experiment and result analysis.The fourth chapter is the conclusion and recommendations.The thesis combines the investigation of the current situation of intermediate Chinese writing teaching of Lao students with teaching experimental research,and uses methods such as questionnaire surveys,interviews with people,experimental research and statistical analysis to carry out experimental research on teaching Chinese writing to intermediate Lao students.The current situation investigation found that Lao students’ intermediate Chinese writing teaching has problems such as the lack of pertinence of the teacher’s teaching plan,greed for more,the weaker Chinese foundation for foreign students,the fearfulness,and the lack of specialized writing courses and teaching materials.Experimental research shows that the average score of foreign students in the experimental class has improved by 14.7 points,which is significantly higher than7.0 points in the control class.It can be said that the "one lesson,one gain" teaching experiment has effectively improved the intermediate Chinese writing ability of Lao students.The dissertation is innovative in the experimental study of intermediate Chinese writing teaching for international students in Laos,provides a successful case for the experimental study of intermediate Chinese writing teaching for international students in Laos.
