Revisions To The Transcriptions And Related Information Of The Xu 盨 Section Of Shang-zhou Qingtongqi Mingwen Ji Tuxiang Jicheng 商周青铜器铭暨图像集成(Integrated Shang-zhou Bronze Inscriptions And Images)

Shang-Zhou Qingtongqi Mingwen Ji Tuxiang Jicheng商周青铜器铭文暨图像集成contains a large variety of bronzes and comprehensive collection of bronze inscriptions.It is a large-scale reference book that describes bronze inscriptions.However,because of the complication of compiling this book,many different mistakes will exist in it.This thesis selects the 183 pieces of bronze Xu盨,and revises their inscriptions and information one by one.This thesis is mainly revised in three aspects: the first is the terms of information,checking other books,and pointing out the problems including the mistake of journal volumes,page numbers,and some missing information and so on.Secondly,in terms of images,we checked the figures of objects and the rubbings and copies of inscriptions,and investigated the problems of wrong collection,mixing and reoccurrence.Thirdly,in terms of interpretation,we collected as much as possible the relevant research on each inscription,absorbed the new textual interpretation and research results,and pointed out the omission,error,suspicion and other problems in the interpretation.
