On The Image Narration Of Su Tong’s Novels

Su Tong is a bright star in the contemporary literary world.In the 1980 s,he was famous as a pioneer in the literary world.In the 1990 s,he became popular because of the adaptation of novels.He has never been able to bond with films since then.As for the relationship between Su Tong’s novels and films,people have always focused on the comparison between Su Tong’s novels and adapted films,and the criteria for judging adapted films based on literary original works.However,few people have paid attention to the traces influenced by films and a large number of film elements in Su Tong’s novels.In his novels,he used a large number of image narrative means to express the objective world,the inner world and the theme of thoughts through the cinematic narrative mode and thinking concept.This paper takes the image narrative features in Su Tong’s novels as the research object,and uses the theories of film aesthetics and film narratology to analyze the application and embodiment of film narrative techniques and thinking in Su Tong’s novels from montage and lens language.There are five chapters in this paper.The first chapter is the introduction,which summarizes the research of Su Tong’s novels,analyzes the existing research in the frame of comparison between Su Tong’s novels and films,and combs the internal logic of the concept of image narration.The second chapter analyzes the causes of the image narration of Su Tong’s novels from the aspects of the general influence of film and television art on Chinese people,the wide influence on Chinese and foreign writers,and the deep influence on Su Tong’s individual.In the third chapter,from the perspective of lens language,visual features and film modeling features,the author systematically discusses the image narrative techniques and Cinematic Imagination in Su Tong’s novels.In the fourth chapter,montage,the classic narrative language of the movie,is used as the cutting point.The montage techniques used in Su Tong’s novels are divided into two categories: narrative montage and performance montage.The fifth chapter briefly summarizes the aesthetic value of the image narration in Su Tong’s novels.
