The Study On Misery Description On Xue Tao’s Children’s Fiction

Misery is one of the central motive of the literature.In children’s fiction,the complaining about misery changed from era,idea and thesis.Before the new era,the writers intended to use child,as a disadvantaged group,miserable experience to criticize and reflect on social and political reality.Instead now they focus on children’s survival reality as well as their mental predicament as a result of child-centered modern children idea.While in children’s literature researching area,the research still kept in a shallow way that takes misery as a “combustion improver” of child’s growth.The form,expression method and its value for children are in a dead zone that needs a further systematic research.As a children fiction writer from northeastern China,Xue Tao can understand children’s miserable life in northeastern China from his own experience.Although Xue didn’t confine himself in this own familiar life or child image.Instead,based on northeastern children’s miserable life,he took a further step in revealing multiple physical and mental predicaments during children’s growth and directed a way for children making breakthrough on misery out of his own experience.From a unique perspective of children’s idea,he put invigorate the children’s literature through the mode of growth after misery.He reflected on misery with child and life philosophy and finally overcame misery in which he can praise children’s life value and mental power.The study,taking misery description in Xue Tao’s children’s fiction,from the perspective of the origin of the misery,the way of overcoming misery and the wisdom beyond misery,use intensive reading and interdisciplinary method to make a research on his work and analyze his children’s idea in an expectancy of enriching the theoretical achievements in this area.
