Study On The Present Situation Of Mandarin Level Of Dai People In Xishuangbanna

The Dai people in Xishuangbanna are a group where almost all people believe in the Theravada Buddhism.They have their own religious beliefs and ethnic languages.The high concentration of the Dais allows the Dais in Xishuangbanna to be better preserved and used in a stable manner.However,the status of their Mandarin level How,what are the main problems of Chinese learning,how to effectively put forward appropriate suggestions for different Dai groups,and improve their Mandarin Chinese level as a whole,we need to explore and study one by one.Through the questionnaire survey and interview of three Dai groups(children,young adults and the elderly)in Menghun Town,Menghai County,Xishuangbanna,referring to the evaluation standard of Mandarin level in 2000 "Survey of Chinese language and characters",the author uses weighted average to make their Mandarin level digitizing,taking Menghai County as the case list,trying to combine the investigation and experimental phonetics analysis.To understand the problems that restrict the Mandarin level of Dai people in Xishuangbanna,excavate the main reasons,and put forward the corresponding suggestions to improve the Mandarin level for the three groups of Dai children,young adults and the elderly in Xishuangbanna.The article is divided into five parts and four chapters.First of all,the introduction part discusses the cause,purpose and significance of the study,research objects,methods and research status.The first chapter analyzes the Mandarin level and influencing factors of the three Dai groups in Xishuangbanna,the second chapter discusses the main problems of Dai learning Mandarin in Xishuangbanna,the third chapter analyzes the main problems of Dai learning Mandarin in Xishuangbanna,and puts forward the corresponding suggestions to improve the Mandarin level of children,young adults and the elderly.The fourth chapter mainly summarizes the conclusions of the study,but also discusses the problems that have not been solved.Using the calculation method of weighted average,the average Chinese level of the Xishuangbanna Dai is 4.76 points.which is in the stage of "basic conversation but not proficient" to "proficient use but heavy accent".Combined with the data analysis,the Mandarin level of the three Dai groups is uneven.The Mandarin level of Dai children was quantitatively assigned,the weighted average score was 5.89,the weighted average score of Dai young and middle-aged people was 4.80,and the Mandarin level of Dai elderly over60 years old was 2.26 points.
