On The Application Of Bel Canto In The Singing Of Yi People’s Songs ——Taking Seeking The Place Where The Sun Rises As An Example

In the garden of the ethnic groups of China,Yi people,as a branch of ethnic characteristics,is widely distributed in Yunnan,river,Guizhou,Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and other regions.The songs of the Yi,a bright pearl in the intangible cultural heritage of China,have occupied an important position in the history of modern Chinese music.The songs of the Yi people first appeared in the form of communication tools,oral literature and other forms.They have gradually developed into an indispensable literary and artistic form in people’s lives.During happy occasions such as visits to relatives and friends,Festival’s holidays,etc.,they all express their inner joy by singing Yi songs.Yi People’s songs are rich in content,strict in sound,simple in style and beautiful in melody,which embody their ethnic spirit,emotion,character,temperament and other factors.It also fully embodies the unique traditional features of the Yi people in singing,and is of great academic value in the study of the musical characteristics,development status quo,lyrics and other factors of the songs of the Yi people,it is of great significance for us to explore the development and innovation of the minority songs in the current cultural trend.As one of the most widely distributed and populous ethnic minorities in Yunnan,Yi people has long been a rich source of inspiration for composers,he has created many familiar vocal works with the rich and colorful elements of Yi people culture.In this concert,the author performed the Bel Canto,a popular Yi Song,and took the opportunity to study the Bel Canto’s practice of singing Yi songs,and then the Bel Canto’s experience in singing the songs of the Yi people.This article is divided into four chapters:In the first chapter,the author explains the current situation of Bel Canto in China,including the problems of Bel Canto in singing Chinese songs.In the second chapter,the development of the Yi songs,the musical characteristics and the literariness of the lyrics are elaborated in detail.The third chapter,combined with the learning process of my graduate students,describes in detail the singing skills,the use of sound and emotion expression of the Yi People’s Song "looking for the place where the sun rises".In the Fourth Chapter,the author sings the Yi People’s Song "seeking the place where the sun rises" in the concert,and gets the experience: Grasping the characteristicsof Yi people style accurately and improving the expressive force of the work by Bel Canto.
