| With the rising of the mainland film market and the downturn of Hong Kong film industry,"Going north" has become a major way for Hong Kong filmmakers to seek new development and new outlet.But it turns out that,the mainland market and audiences do not buy all the works of Hong Kong filmmakers,In order to adapt to the new cultural environment and the aesthetic perspective of the Mainlanders,Hong Kong filmmakers must make certain adjustments and changes.After many failures,Some Hong Kong filmmakers have successfully entered the mainland film market,Well known and loved by mainland audiences.Peng Haoxiang is one of many successful cases.As a young director,Peng Haoxiang has directed 15 films,2001,he made his first public appearance by <You shoot,I shoot>,In 2010,<Love in a Puff> made him known to audiences in mainland,In June 2010,Peng Haoxiang settled in Beijing,And move the studio there too to start the official road of "going north".The full text consists of four chapters.First of all,the connotation of "going north" should be clarified in combination with the relevant research of some scholars in the academic circle,and make clear the time nodes before and after Peng Haoxiang’s film “going north”.And then,from the perspective of Hong Kong film "going north",Analyze the reasons and current situation of Hong Kong film “going north”,And the reason for the disappearance of "Hong Kong local distinguishing feature " Combined with the background of Hong Kong film “going north”,this paper analyzes the background and process of Peng Haoxiang’s film “going north”.The second chapter compares the data changes,type changes,and network score changes of Peng Haoxiang’s films before and after going north,from the box office situation and the score from the three most commonly used film rating application,we can see the change of the audience’s liking degree for Peng Haoxiang’s films after he “going north”.To analyze the adjustment and integration of Peng Haoxiang’s films.In chapter three,based on the observation and analysis of a large number of Peng Haoxiang’s film texts and the academic research on Peng Haoxiang’s films,this chapter analyzed the film characteristics of Peng Haoxiang’s films before "going north" from four aspects: the formation of Peng Haoxiang’s film concept,The popularization of narrative subject,The characteristics of business aesthetics,Diversity of audiovisual language.In the fourth chapter,after observes and sorts out the film texts of Peng Haoxiang after “going north”,and compares the film characteristics of Peng Haoxiang before and after “going north”,so as to analyze the compromise and integration of Peng Haoxiang in order to cater to the mainland film market.At the end of the paper,the author tries to analyze the dilemma of Hong Kong Film staying and "going north" and the way out for Hong Kong film to break through itself. |
