Semantic Integration Analysis Of "X Flower" Word Family From The Perspective Of Conceptual Synthesis

The theory of conceptual synthesis is about "a systematic exposition of the mapping and interaction of psychological spaces in the process of verbal communication",which has a strong explanatory power for the generation of speech meaning.In this paper,we collect other word families of "x flower",increase the corpus,and increase the diachronic research on the meaning of "flower" on the basis of predecessors,adds corpus,analyzes the integration level,integration mode and integration process of "x flower" family words,and explores the semantic generation mechanism of "x flower" family words.This study is divided into six parts:The first part: introduction.This part will explain the purpose of the topic,research status,research methods,corpus sources,research scope and other issues.The second part: including the diachronic and synchronic investigation of "flower".The diachronic study of "flower" includes the semantic and grammatical changes of "flower".From the Six Dynasties,the meaning of "flower" began to change,until the Republic of China,a total of 11 meanings were extended.From the Six Dynasties to the Ming Dynasty,the grammatical nature of "flower" is a word.Since the Ming Dynasty,"flower" has become a word building morpheme.Based on the diachronic study of "flower",it is found that "flower" satisfies two criteria: semantic emptiness and semantic adhesion of "quasi affix".Through corpus analysis,"flower" also satisfies two criteria: one-way high collocation and word formation positioning.Therefore,we regard "flower" as "quasi affix" and as a word formation morpheme in "x flower".The synchronic study of "flower" includes the collation of "meaning items" involved in the corpus,and then the analysis of the extended relationship between each meaning item by using metaphor and metonymy related knowledge.The third part: this part includes three sections,the first section is a brief introduction of the main points of "concept integration theory".The second section divides the integration level into three categories according to the former classification standards of integration level,combined with the use of the original meaning and extended meaning of the corpus: low integration,medium integration,high integration、low degree integration can be divided into two categories:specific words and common words;medium degree integration can be divided into two categories: "X" as the semantic center and "flower" as the semantic center;high degree integration can be divided into five categories: "x metaphor,flower metaphor""x metonymy,flower metaphor""double-layer metaphor""whole metonymy" and "whole metaphor".The thirdsection summarizes two factors that affect the degree of integration of "x flower" family words:"the subordination relationship between" X "and" flower "and the modification relationship between" X "and" flower ".The fourth part: the analysis of the integration mode of the "x flower" family words,there are three integration modes: simple integration,increased domain integration,mixed integration,and then under each integration mode,select the representative corpus to analyze the integration process in detail.The fifth part: the analysis of the semantic integration mechanism of "x flower" words.There are four integration mechanisms: Deconstruction mechanism,recognition mechanism,compression mechanism and analogy mechanism.Part six: conclusion.Including the conclusion and shortcomings of this paper.
