The concept of implicit grammar teaching comes from the field of language learning.This theory was introduced in China after the twentieth century and has attracted the attention of many domestic scholars and teachers.The introduction of new compulsory education English curriculum standards classifies English language knowledge learning including grammar,and clarifies the requirements and content of English grammar learning at the elementary school level.The new curriculum standard also proposes that teachers should pay attention to training students’ ability of comprehensive English language use.It puts forward new requirements for teachers’ grammar teaching in English class.In addition,there are few studies on the design of English implicit grammar teaching in primary school,which leads teachers to lack specific theoretical and practical guidance,and it will partly hinder the promotion and practice of English implicit grammar teaching in primary school.How to carry out teaching activities under the requirements of the new curriculum standard by English implicit grammar teaching in elementary school and achieve ideal teaching effects is worthy of discussion and research.This article organizes and analyzes the theoretical basis of the English implicit grammar instructional design of primary school,and clarifies the requirements of the English implicit grammar instructional design of elementary school:(1)Clarifying the meaning of the text and presenting the grammar part repeatedly;(2)Leading students induct rules and helping students construct formula;(3)Participation with multiple English language skills and guide students to understand grammar;(4)Enhancing the output in comprehensive task and emphasizing communication feedback.In addition,according to the instructional design theory and models,the operational framework of the English implicit grammar instructional design was determined.The teaching implementation of this research is carried out in the sixth grade of the primary school Z in the city Z.The selected teaching content is the Unit4 grammar part of the English sixth grade primary school in Yilin edition.Through the analysis of learners,I found that most students like a more relaxed and active classroom atmosphere,and look forward to a variety of teaching activities.In terms of teaching content,the Grammar time of the textbook in the unit is closely connected with the Story time,and there is a strong continuity between the units.In addition,the theme of the unit is that the changes happened in people,society,and family by the change of time,so the instructional design should also pay attention to the theme of the unit as much as possible.Based on the preliminary analysis,the author designs and implements the specific objectives,contents,strategies,etc.of classroom teaching.Although this research has achieved certain teaching effects through teaching implementation,this teaching design still has some deficiencies in activity settings and homework layout,and needs to be improved in the following aspects: first,pay attention to basic language knowledge teaching and increase time for practice;second,optimize activity settings,create expression opportunities and atmosphere;third,improve job layout to ensure the durability of the effect of the activity.
