Yijian zhi is an important work by Hong Mai,which has a profound influence on later novels. When Ling Mengchu created the Erpai,he often quoted the content of Yijian zhi.According to the author’s statistics,30 novels of Erpai, quoted the story of Yijian zhi, accounting for 38%of the entire book,15 of which are quoted in the entry part and 8 are quoted in the main story. The 7 novels are quoted in both the entry part and the main story. At the same time,Erpai is a personally edited work by Ling Mengchu, which reflects the author’s writing style and contemporary features in the process of acceptance. After Ling’s rewriting, the story of Yijian zhi was refreshed.By analyzing the acceptance and rewriting of Erpai,we can differ the text characteristics and author’s writing tendency of the two, which has the value of research and discussion. This article contains three parts:research status, main text and conclusion. In the current research situation, the author focused on the influence of Yijian zhi on Erpai and the research on the acceptance and rewriting of Erpai, and pointed out the significance of research value. The main body includes three chapters:The first chapter sorts out the acceptance in the number of chapters, the quotation between entry part and the main story, the choice of themes, and the way of rewriting. In terms of the number of citations, the acceptance of Erpai is gradually increasing. From the perspective of the quotation in entry part and the main story,Slapping the Table in Amazement(Pai an jingqi)is mostly quoted in entry part, and the quoted stories and texts are mostly positively related. But in Slapping the Table in Amazement,Second Collection(Erke Pai an jingqi),quotation in entry part and the main story has a balance inheritance, and there is both a positive and a negative relationship between the citation and the full text, which reflects the growth and changes of Ling Mengchu in the process of text acceptance. From the perspective of the themes, romance takes important part in acceptance, which followed by ghosts and case themes. From the perspective of text acceptance,Erpai’s acceptance of Yijian zhi is mainly based on performance, and only a small part of the passage is directly retelled. From the acceptance of Erpai,it can be seen that on the one hand,Ling Mengchu’s selection of the material of Erpai is a process of constant adjustment;on the other hand,Erpai merged with Yijian zhi perfectly in the process of acceptance. The second chapter explores the inheritance and new changes of Yijian zhi by Erpai. In terms of inheritance,Erpai accepted the destiny view and the view of righteousness and benefit in Yijian zhi.In terms of the new changes,on the one hand,Ling Mengchu rewrites the story of romance in the text from the two stages;on the other hand, the image of the citizen has been added and the industry of the citizen has been refined. The weight of the citizens’ discourse has been increased, and the citizens’ images have been richened too, which building a full of citizen world in novel. The third chapter discusses the literary writing and the times features in the process of acceptance of Erpai.First of all,Ling Mengchu penetrated the author’s will into the text, and formed the narrative control of the text by rewriting the text combination, narrative perspective, narrative identity and narrative plausibility.Secondly,Yijian zhi and Erpai are both characterized by curiosity, but the two show great differences in original intention, selection criteria and writing style. Finally, literature is the epitome of personal will and the appearance of the times. In the process of reformation,Erpai not only reflects Ling Mengchu’s anxiety about the times, but also, influenced by the times, reflects the new voice of the late Ming in the narrative.
