The Yuan Dynasty Constitution is a compilation of legal documents compiled by officials in the Yuan Dynasty.It consists of 60 volumes,divided into 10 branches.It is an important document to study the politics,history,law and language of the Yuan Dynasty.In the Yuan Dynasty Constitution,the Ministry of Punishment has the most data,totaling 19 volumes.It mainly records the trial process of criminal cases,the results of judgments and promulgation of legal provisions.The legal documents contain abundant vernacular materials,in which the statement of the case is based on the plaintiff’s pleadings and the records of interrogating the plaintiff,the defendant and the dry witness.The case undertakers have not made too much verbal modification,so they have a better oral basis;and the writing age is determined,which can provide clear time information and play a role in positioning the study of Chinese history.Modern Chinese structural auxiliary words came into being in Tang Dynasty,and gradually developed complex and diverse functional uses in Song、Yuan、Ming and Qing Dynasties.The structural auxiliary words in Yuan Dynasty played a connecting role in the development of modern Chinese structural auxiliary words.At the same time,there are a large numbers of Mongolian literal translation documents in the Ministry of Punishment in the Yuan Dynasty Constitution.It is of great significance to study their grammatical features for the study of language contact in the Yuan Dynasty.This paper takes the colloquial language in the Ministry of Punishment in the Yuan Dynasty Constitution as the research object,collects and sorts out the structural auxiliary words in detail,tries to describe the appearance of the structural auxiliary words in the Yuan Dynasty represented by the corpus of the Ministry of Punishment in the Yuan Dynasty Constitution,and combines the literature materials of the same period and the earlier and later periods to analysis the structural auxiliary words in modern Chinese.There is a comprehensive understanding of the development of the Yuan Dynasty,which provides references for the study of grammar in the Yuan Dynasty.This paper is divided into three chapters:The first chapter is the classification and description of the Chinese vernacular materials the Ministry of Punishment in the Yuan Dynasty Constitution and the examples of structural auxiliary words in Mongolian literal translation documents,so as to have a clear understanding of the overall situation of the use of structural auxiliary words in the Ministry of Punishment in the Yuan Dynasty Constitution.The second chapter is the data statistics and brief analysis of the use of structural auxiliary words in the Ministry of Punishment in the Yuan Dynasty Constitution and related literature.It is mainly divided into three parts:the comparison of the internal use of the Yuan Dynasty Constitution,the comparison of the use of the Yuan Dynasty Constitution and contemporary literature,and the comparison of the use of relevant literature before and after the Yuan Dynasty Constitution.In this chapter,the use of structural auxiliary words is collected and analyzed in detail,and the use of structural auxiliary words in the Ministry of punishment is included in the whole history of Chinese Language Development.The third chapter is the specific classification description and analysis of the use cases of structural auxiliary words in the relevant literature.It analyzes the similarities and differences of the use of structural auxiliary words between the Ministry of Punishment in the Yuan Dynasty Constitution and the relevant literature.It can be seen that:the collocation of structural auxiliary words in the Ministry of Punishment in the Yuan Dynasty Constitution is in line with the objective law of language development and the situation of the times,and the influence of its special style is not obvious.
