According to the feedback on the teaching practice of the new batch of voluntary Chinese teachers who went to Thailand during 2019-2020,there are barriers in communication with primary and middle school students in preliminary Chinese classes,so the Chinese teaching effect is not as good as expected.It is found by collecting previous journals,academic dissertations and monographs that the current research regarding "teaching intermediate language" used in Chinese classes only has static analysis on intermediate languages used by teachers,and does not include the dynamic and changeful process of intermediate languages and does not embody adjustment of intermediate languages made by teachers after reflecting on each influential factor and the effect of intermediate languages used.Therefore,taking the above practice problems and existing research as the basis,further research on teaching intermediate languages used by voluntary Chinese teachers in preliminary Chinese classes in Thai primary and middle schools.Particularly,a questionnaire survey is mainly applied to the research question Ⅰ"what is the current status of the use of intermediate languages by voluntary Chinese teachers who went to Thailand in preliminary Chinese classes of Thai primary and middle school students".Based on the research conclusions of question Ⅰ,narrative inquiry is mainly applied to research question Ⅱ "what is the dynamic change process of class intermediate languages used by voluntary Chinese teachers who went to Thailand in preliminary Chinese classes in Thai primary and middle schools ".Based on the research conclusions of question Ⅰ and question Ⅱ,summarization is mainly applied to research question Ⅲ "what are suggestions on strategies for use of class intermediate languages by voluntary Chinese teachers who went to Thailand in preliminary Chinese class in Thai primary and middle school students".The whole survey path is"the first pre-questionnaire survey-the second pre-questionnaire survey-pre-interview-formal questionnaire survey-formal interview".The important research conclusions include the following parts:Firstly,Through the correlation analysis of four groups of questionnaire data,it is found that English level of volunteer teachers was higher than Thai level of those,but volunteer teachers tended to use Thai in Chinese teaching;English level of volunteer teachers is same as that of students,but volunteer teachers did not tend to use English as intermedia languages;Volunteer teachers supported the teaching effect of Thai in concept,but tended to use Chinese in Chinese teaching;Volunteer teachers supported the teaching effect of pictures and objects in concept,and tended to use such non-linguistic intermediate in Chinese teaching.Secondly,in consideration of reflection on the practice of selection and use of intermediate languages,The trajectory of change of"Chinese-Thai-Chinese+Thai" is presented,and the proportional change is that Thai and Chinese increased,and English as the contact language used by teachers and students decreased.The process of the use of non-linguistic intermediate languages keeps stable.The change of non-linguistic media is a necessary trend according to the arrangement of teaching materials.It is necessary to notice six conditions which has situation,identifiability,experience and correlation.influential factors in this process mainly included Degree of student,teacher and school.According to the analysis of the results of questionnaire surveys and interviews,take the Thai version of the Chinese textbook "Learn Chinese with Me",Volume 1,Lesson 18 "My Dad is a Doctor" as an example,review and reflect on personal teaching practice,and redesign teaching based on teaching problems.Finally,draw and put forward strategic suggestions from the perspective of three subjects,including teachers,teaching institution for teachers and teacher agency.This research has the following restrictions:first,the investigation into the current status of use of teaching intermediate languages is mainly conducted from the perspective of teachers and not from the perspective of students.Second,statistics of data regarding the use of intermediate languages by teachers in different semesters is not conducted,only acquire Statistics of the basic situation by interview.
