Chen Zhongshi’s novel "White Deer Plain" has been adapted into a variety of art forms,the opera version is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated,and the composer Cheng Dazhao is an artist who grew up in Guanzhong culture,in particular,he was happy to devote himself to the white deer plain.In the creation of the play,the opera "white deer plain" not only remained faithful to the original work,but also dealt with the plot and the characterization in the dramatic construction,which gathered the tension for the dramatic conflict,therefore,it creates a space for the music and performance of Tian Xiaoe and Heiwa.In the main line of love between Heiwa and Tian Xiaoe,Heiwa’s music and image creation has a unique artistic atmosphere,which is one of the important links in the development of drama.On the basis of analyzing the music of Heiwa in the opera "white deer plain",this paper makes a technical analysis of the characterization.Based on the analysis of the two main Arias of Heiwa,this paper explores the musical language and artistic expression of Heiwa in the play,and reveals the basis of his complicated and multi-dimensional character,using specific singing techniques to achieve the image of opera characters.This article also hopes that through the targeted research,provides better reference for teaching practice.
