A Study On Ritual Writing In New Century Novels

The word "ritual" emerged as an anthropological term in the 19 th century.Western scholars generalize it as a branch of human experience.With the continuous development of social history,ritual gradually expanded from the original myth and religion to the politics,society and life of human beings.In the long history of Chinese literature,ritual behavior writing in literary works has always existed,but it has also experienced a long and tortuous development process.After entering the new century,great changes have taken place in the whole context,and the writing of ritual behavior shows a tendency of weakening on the whole,but it is still an important part of the novel text.On the one hand,the analysis of ritual writing in novels of the new century can help us understand the literature of the new century from a new Angle,on the other hand,it can also help us to better play the role of ritual,gather social forces,and promote the reconstruction and development of culture.In this paper the ritual behavior of novel writing in the new century as the research object,selecting representative novel text in the new century,by applying the method of close reading,crossover study,comparative research methods,such as the generation of new century novel ceremony written context,specific aspects such as connotation of types,characteristics,explore the uniqueness of writing novels in the new century rituals,and to explore the value and limitations.In addition to the introduction part,this paper consists of four parts: The first part explores the context of ritual writing in the creation of new century novels,which mainly includes three aspects: social context,historical tradition and cultural context.The second part explores the specific types of ritual writing in novel creation in the new century,including the feudal ignorance ceremony and the beautiful and tender ceremony under the influence of traditional civilization,as well as the desired commercial ceremony and the consumerized religious ceremony under the influence of modern civilization.The third part further explores the characteristics and connotation of ritual writing in novel creation in the new century.Ritual has the characteristics of group,repetition,symbolism and performance.At the same time,ritual writing can reflect the human nature,can reflect the belief,but also has the function of treatment.The fourth part summarizes the value and limitation of ritualistic writing in the new century novel creation.Its value is shown in that it can inherit the tradition of ritualistic writing and help reshape the core of local culture.Its limitation refers to the tendency of consumption and curiosity and the tendency of form over content.In a word,the study of ritual writing in new century novels is of great significance to the development of literature,social progress and cultural remolding.
