| With the increasing development of China’s economic strength and the proposal of "One Belt And One Road",the international communication of Chinese and overseas Chinese education have gained more development.Cambodia as a southeast country along the Maritime Silk Road,has set off a trend of Chinese fever.The Chinese language education is not limited to the descendants of Chinese,but also extends to the mother tongue students of Cambodia.This is the best opportunity for the development of Chinese language schools.Due to the radiation of China’s economy,Chinese learners are increasing day by day in the whole country and the Chinese language education and teaching is showing a thriving scene.The Chinese language education in Cambodia started in the Lower South Asia period,developed in the 1990 s,and prospered substantially after the 21 st century.In recent years,key projects related to production capacity and investment cooperation between China and Cambodia have been implemented in Shilun County of Kratie Special Economic Zone,which has accelerated the pace of Chinese teaching in Guanghua School of Kratie Province.The research object of this paper is the Chinese language teaching in Guanghua School of Cambodia from the perspective of localization of Chinese language teaching.The author conducted an online survey on all the teachers of Cambodian Chinese School and students of Shilun Guanghua School,and further analyzed the existing localization problems and solutions from the collected data and information.This study is supported by the consensus of localization in Chinese teaching,the classification of localization levels,the implementation principles of localization,and the significance of Chinese localization.Through the method of literature,field observation,interview and questionnaire survey,the use of textbooks,teaching methods,class management,students’ classroom feedback,teaching management,online teaching,the source of students’ learning motivation,behavior and discipline,and students’ preferences in Guanghua School of Cambodia were investigated.This paper analyzes the localization of Chinese teaching in Guanghua School of Kratie Province from five aspects of teachers,learners,schools,use of textbooks and courses,and finds that there are some problems in the localization of Chinese teaching in Guanghua School of Kratie Province,such as the stability of teaching staff,the loss of students,the rules of teaching management,the practicability of Chinese textbooks and the limitations of curriculum setting.In view of the above problems,the author puts forward some suggestions,such as strengthening the training of Chinese teachers at home and abroad,enhancing the learning motivation of Chinese learners,improving the local teaching management mode of Chinese schools,and promoting the localization and innovation construction of the resource library of Chinese teaching materials in Cambodia.At the same time,the author creatively puts forward several principles that should be grasped in the localization of Chinese teaching in Cambodia under the epidemic situation: insisting on the integration of internationalization and localization,insisting on the unification of general teaching rules and special learning conditions,insisting on the unification of the right amount and moderation of localization,and insisting on the unification of online teaching and offline teaching.The conclusion part summarizes the challenges of Chinese language teaching in Cambodia under the epidemic situation,reveals the current problems of Chinese language teaching in Guanghua School,and puts forward some visions for the future from the perspective of Chinese language localization,in order to obtain valuable experience of Chinese language education in Cambodia and reflection on the path of Chinese language transmission,so as to inspire relevant teachers,practitioners and administrators.To promote Chinese language education in Cambodia to better and faster development. |
