| Writing is one of the four language skills of Chinese,listening,speaking,reading,and writing.At the same time,as a language output training,it is an important reflection of learners’ discourse expression ability.In the intermediate and advanced stages of language learning,students often appear grammatically correct in their composition,but logically they are not smoothly expressed or the language is repetitive and cumbersome.These phenomena reflect the problems of cohesion and coherence in the learners’ written language expression.As an important basis for teaching and one of the influencing factors of learners’ discourse errors,writing textbooks play an important role in Chinese discourse teaching.The article takes the two-volume textbook "Developing Chinese: Advanced Writing" as the research object,and refers to the textbook compilation instructions and design goals.From the perspective of text teaching,the number,length,sample topics,styles,and exercises of the texts and exercises in the textbook The textbook discourse teaching content such as question type,discourse content and discourse knowledge introduction are classified and analyzed.It is found that the layout of the textbook teaching content has the following characteristics: the teaching material generally reflects a certain discourse teaching awareness;it focuses on the macro The discourse knowledge is explained in detail;the micro-discourse cohesive exercises are relatively small and the distribution is relatively scattered.The micro-discourse cohesive exercises account for the highest proportion of the logical cohesive exercises;secondly based on the above With regard to the characteristics of the layout of the textual content of the textbook,the paper puts forward suggestions for teachers and students in the use of textbooks: teachers should flexibly control the classroom and selectively practice textbook exercises;attach importance to combining textual knowledge to comment on exercises;students Emphasis should be placed on the accumulation of textual knowledge,and effective use of the pre-class composition comment section of the textbook. |
