Research On Marx’s Moral Critical Thought

Moral critical thought is the expansion of Marx’s social critical thought in the moral field,which points to the capitalist moral theory,moral reality,and the relationship between them.The study of Marx’s moral critical thought is of great value and significance not only for the study of the fundamental nature of Marx’s theory,but also for the study of the moral problems in China.This paper conducts a general research on Marx’s moral critical thought through the literature research method and historical analysis method,the research is carried out from the two dimensions of the vertical thought development history and the horizontal thought framework.This paper briefly discusses the theoretical background and origin of Marx’s moral critical thought,and briefly sorts out the moral critical theory that has influenced Marx’s moral critical thought,and then discusses the development vein of Marx’s moral critical thought from a vertical perspective.This paper argues that Marx initially stood on the standpoint of morality and used moral ideals to criticize the realistic capitalist morality,through the intermediary of historical materialism,Marx established the mode of thinking of practice,and found the real foundation and standpoint of moral criticism,and gradually turned to the scientific criticism,realizing the unity of science and morality;horizontally,it analyzes and demonstrates the core content of Marx’s moral criticism thought: the criticism of capitalist moral theory and morality itself,the discussion of the position of Marx’s moral critical thought and the ideological results it produces.Marx’s moral criticism is the unity of morality and scientificity.Moral criticism uses historical materialism as an intermediary and finally leads to scientific socialism.Marx’s critical analysis of capitalist moral theory and moral status quo has important guiding significance for us: it helps us to correctly understand the moral theory and moral reality of contemporary capitalist society;it is helpful to critically draw lessons from the western moral theory and the construction of contemporary Chinese moral theory;it is helpful to perfect China’s ethics system and strengthen moral confidence in the new era.
