| The Teaching Proficiency Through Reading and story-telling method was introduced and used in the 1990 s by Blaine Ray,on the basis of "TPR" teaching method(Total Physical Response)of James Asher,he added second language acquisition theory of linguist Krashen.This teaching method takes "reading" and "storytelling" as the core,enlightens students on the premise of a large number of comprehensible inputs,achieves good interaction between teachers and students,and greatly improves the teaching efficiency.This method has been widely used in the field of second language teaching in foreign countries,and has also been applied to English teaching in China,In recent years,the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language has gradually paid attention to this new and unique advantage of the second language pedagogy.The film and television teaching of Chinese as a foreign language can be traced back to the early1980 s,which is a correct attempt to apply various types of film and television clips into the teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The use of film and television resources can make up for the lack of real scenes in traditional teaching methods,but it needs to be strictly screened.In this paper,according to the TPRS teaching method and the complementary advantages of both the film and television resources,based on the theory and practice of previous researchers’ research combining teaching method and teaching resources,formed a "TPRS+ film and television resources" teaching mode,makes every effort to give full play to the advantages of teaching,achieve benefit maximization,and discusses the feasibility of teaching mode in the teaching Chinese as a foreign language as well as the operation paradigm.This paper is divided into five chapters,the introduction part introduces the reason and significance of the topic,research review and research methods.The first chapter is an overview of the mode of "TPRS+ film and television resources",which describes the meaning of TPRS teaching method,three basic links,the concept and scope of film and television resources,and clarifies the connotation of the mode of "TPRS+ film and television resources".Section 1 and Section 2 of the second chapter respectively analyze the value of film and television resources and the advantages of TPRS teaching method applied in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Compared with other teaching methods,the unique characteristics of TPRS teaching method are highlighted.The third section focuses on the shortcomings of the separate use of film and television resources and TPRS teaching method,as well as how to make up for the shortcomings of each other to achieve the maximum benefit of the model.The first section of the third chapter summarizes the selection principles of film and television resources under this mode: the principle of storytelling,the principle of moderation,the principle of pertinence,the principle of interest,and the principle of practicability.The second,third and fourth sections take films,TV dramas and TV variety shows as examples respectively to analyze the advantages of these three kinds of film and television resources in language characteristics and application in cultural teaching,and illustrate the problems that should be paid attention to in resource selection with specific examples.The fourth chapter analyzes how to use the mode of "TPRS+ film and television resources" for students with different levels of Chinese from the perspectives of language teaching and cultural teaching.The language teaching consists of the preparation stage before class,classroom teaching stage,after-class consolidation stage and teaching effect evaluation stage,and discusses the specific teaching steps of the mode in detail.The fifth chapter takes the same clip of "Family with Children" as the film and television resources,presents two complete teaching design cases for students of different Chinese language levels,puts forward the specific requirements and matters needing attention in the application of this model,and analyzes the limitations of this model.The innovation of this paper is that a new teaching model is proposed on the basis of previous studies,and a relatively complete teaching paradigm is presented,and its feasibility is analyzed,hoping to provide specific case reference for the use of this model. |
