A Study On The Music Of The New Historical Drama Of Beijing Opera

In the development of the art of Peking opera,the newly-edited historical play is an important part,which is the combination of the times and art,and has certain research significance and value.Since founding ceremony of the People’s Republic of China,the new historical plays have re-entered People’s social life with a completely new look and a completely new idea.What the predecessors have provided can no longer meet people’s growing spiritual and cultural needs,artistic innovation must be demanded.For the traditional drama,the new historical drama is a new revolution,and its appearance is also the inevitable product of the development of the times.With the emergence of more and more high-level plays in the creation of Chinese Peking opera,the works of new historical plays are particularly outstanding.Through a comprehensive and systematic study of the concept definition,historical background and music development of the new historical opera of Beijing Opera,the aim is to further understand its living environment and musical style,to give a new historical play a Seek truth from facts position in the history of Peking opera.Taking Cao Cao and Yang Xiu and Zhen Guan Sheng Shi,two representative works,as examples,from a batch of outstanding works with individuality and creativity created,using musicological research methods,starting from the analysis of the music noumenon of these two works,this paper investigates how these two works inherit the tradition and develop the innovation in the aspects of Aria,Banshi,Runqiang,accompaniment,etc.,in addition,the musical characteristics of the new historical plays of Beijing opera are analyzed and summarized in detail,and the future development of the music of the new historical plays of Beijing opera is considered and prospected,through the study of its music creation as well as its own artistic value and historical value to show the new face of Beijing Opera Art.
