Research On Chinese Fantasy Film In The New Century

Since the new century,under the influence of economy,culture,market and other aspects,Chinese fantasy films have developed greatly.In just over a decade,fantasy films have become the main type of domestic film market in China and gradually formed a stable development trend.This paper analyzes the theme connotation,narrative characteristics,image presentation,influencing factors and development limitations of Chinese fantasy films since the new century,and further clarifies its type characteristics.The thesis consists of introduction,four chapters and conclusion.The introduction part mainly introduces the background of this paper,clarifies the concept of Chinese fantasy films,and introduces the research status of Chinese fantasy films.The first chapter mainly studies the theme connotation of Chinese fantasy films since the new century.Chinese fantasy films put modern social dilemmas such as the crisis of human identity,the excessive pursuit of realistic desires,and the incontestability reality and fantasy.Starting from the traditional cultural spirits such as the unity of heaven and man,the love of the benevolent and the self-improvement,and the will of human life such as adventure,growth and redemption,this paper explores the diversified development trend of its theme expression.The second chapter mainly analyzes the narrative characteristics of Chinese fantasy films since the new century from the perspective of narrative space-time creation and character image shaping.Narrative space in the real space,historical space and imagination space multi-dimensional juxtaposition,narrative time in the fuzzy nature of the time and the abnormal change of time in this paper,the narrative time and space of Chinese fantasy film presents the characteristics of multi-dimensional and liberalization.On the basis of inheriting the tradition,the characters of Chinese fantasy films are endowed with the value and cultural connotation with the characteristics of the times,which are mainly reflected in the defamiliarization of traditional characters and the humanized expression of new characters.The third chapter is the analysis of the image presentation of Chinese fantasy films in the new century,which is mainly reflected in the two aspects of the fantasy presentation under the support of technology and the poetic expression of oriental aesthetics.With the support of modern digital technology,the design of surprise scenes and virtual characters makes fantasy films create image wonders on the screen.At the same time,ethnic elements and the creation of aesthetic artistic conception have further strengthened the unique expression of localized stories and completed the poetic presentation of their oriental aesthetics.The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the influencing factors and limitations of Chinese fantasy films in the new century.This paper probes into the development of Chinese fantasy films since the new century from three aspects of economy,culture and market,and points out the main factors influencing its development.On this basis,it explores the development dilemma of Chinese fantasy films since the new century and points out the crisis in narrative,culture and market,which is of warning significance for the development of fantasy films in the future.The conclusion part summarizes the development of Chinese fantasy films since the new century,clarifies its defects and shortcomings,and provides reference for the next development.
