| Guided by speech act theory,this paper takes Li Jiaqi’s 100 live webcast video clips as the research object,sums up the characteristics of Li Jiaqi’s high-frequency words,sentence structure and paragraph combination in live webcast,and tries to discover their speech act features.It is found out that these speech act characteristics play a role in a certain degree in Li Jiaqi’s application of AIDA process that has made him the role model of the webcast.This paper has enriched the research content of speech act features in pragmatics,and provided more data and insight into the study of speech act features of webcast sales pitch.This paper first introduces Austin’s and Searle’s theory of speech act and classification,and puts forward the classification method based on it.In the aspect of data analysis,according to AIDA model,the author first divides each sales pitch discourse into three paragraphs: “arousing attention”,“arousing interest and desire” and “action-taken” in each video clips;then uses the corpus software Ant Conc to analyze the three classified corpus,and makes statistical arrangement of the high-frequency words in each paragraph according to grammatical part of speech analysis such as nouns,verbs,adjectives and adverbs of high-frequency vocabulary.To follow that,according to the position of high-frequency vocabulary in the sentence,the author sums up the structure of Li Jiaqi’s commonly used sentences in webcast.Finally,the combination patterns of various sentences are summed up to illustrate the differences of Li Jiaqi’s speech acts for different product types on webcast and how these differences,speech act features affect public audience.The conclusion of the study is: in the application of AIDA sales model,Li Jiaqi uses exaggerated and exclamatory language to attract the attention of the audience.Then he uses rich imaginative and professional language to express his favor and praise for the product so that the audience is quickly emerged into the scene,their interest aroused and the desire stimulated.After that,the suggestive language is used to urge the audience to take quick action so as to complete the sales process.For different product types such as cosmetics,skin care,and perfume products,Li Jiaqi can achieve product introduction and sales performance by using different combinations of speech acts features according to the characteristics of product types,thus highlighting Li Jiaqi’s label as his unique and effective speech act features. |
