| With the update of modern educational technology and the swift pace of curriculum reform.Mind mapping,as a learning tool that can make thinking visualized,has entered people’s vision.It’s thought to be fit the way the human brain thinks.So how to apply mind maps to teaching that help students to study autonomously and improve learning efficiency has become an urgent problem to be explored by teachers.Therefore,this paper aims to explore the practical effect of mind maps on English grammar teaching in primary school.This paper also discussed that how to apply mind maps to English grammar teaching class in primary school.The theoretical basis of this study are brain science theory,scaffolding theory and constructivism learning theory.By using the methods of literature research,investigation research,experiment and quantitative analysis,the author chose two parallel classes in grade 5 of a school in Shenzhen to make an experiment that bring mind maps into the practical teaching of English grammar class.The whole experiment process is divided into pre-experiment,experiment and post-experiment.The preliminary preparation of the experiment includes the preliminary formulation of the survey plan,questionnaire survey,the analysis of grammar pretest data,and the basic training of mind mapping.The experiment process includes writing grammar teaching plan,teaching design and implementation.The process of post-experiment mainly about collecting data to analyze the experimental effect.Through the second questionnaire dimension analysis and grammar test score S-P analysis.It can be concluded that there are obvious differences in the grammar post-test scores between the experimental class and the control class.The final experimental teaching results show that the application of mind maps in primary school English grammar teaching has obvious advantages.It not only can help students to build knowledge network by themselves and improve memory abilities,but also can stimulate students’ interest in learning grammar,improve their thinking abilities and promote independent learning abilities.But at the same time,there are still some difficulties in carrying out mind maps teaching method in higher grades of primary schools.Aiming at the problems in the experiment process,this study proposes to expand students’ thinking by set up layered exercises,improve teachers’ design ability of mind mapping by change traditional mind maps cognition and establish new teaching concepts.With the rapid speed of information update,teaching always combined with modern technology.That is the inevitable trend of curriculum reform and is also the main way of a modern education promoting.Therefore,combining the characteristics of each discipline with modern teaching technology continuously become the only way to explore the new teaching method.Each teacher should try their best to delve into every way to improve teaching levels!... |
