| As our country’s international status continues to increase,internationalization continues to strengthen,bringing new colors to our lives.The language used for communication is not only the national language,but English has clearly become our second language.In the student’s entire learning career,the high school stage is a golden age for developing foreign language skills,and English writing is especially important for high school English teaching.English writing is not only a form of testing students’ knowledge,but also the highest stage of students’ English learning.Only when students have certain vocabulary accumulation,solid grammar foundation and accurate English language sense,can they complete English writing.However,the writing level of the students and the quality of writing teaching are far form satisfying.There do exist problems,but there has been a lack of systematic discussion and research.How to improve the writing teaching methods and improve the students’ corresponding ability in the only three years of high school has become the focus of attention.This paper problems with senior high school English writing and learning and researches for solutions begins to discover and understand the problems in English writing teaching,and provides some reasonable and effective methods to change the current situation of English writing teaching.The main content of this paper is divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research background and significance of this paper.The second part carries on the corresponding literature review at home and abroad.The third part clearly defines the meaning of high school writing English teaching,and analyzes the theoretical basis and teaching philosophy,such as humanism,constructivism,task-based teaching method etc..In the forth part,the author analyzes the design of this research,including research problems,objects,methods and so on.The fifth part presents research results.Through questionnaire survey,the author investigated more than 1000 high school teachers and students in the Chongqing Yongchuan middle school,finding that the vast majority of teachers use therequirements of the "New Standards" as a guide to teach and clarify the main training of English teaching purpose,but only a few teachers can recognize that English writing is a core part of the comprehensive ability of English skills.In terms of teaching methods,it is still needed to be improved,as a result,the teaching results are not satisfactory.As for students,most of them lack interest in English writing,and writing marks in tests are always disappointing.The final part puts forward some effective solutions,in view of the above existing problems,such as stimulating students’ interest,cultivating good habits,paying attention to writing skills,improving the quality of teachers and so on.Besides,the author actively applies the research results in actual teaching,which proves out to be effective. |
