Research On The Translation Conversion Method Of Uighur Translation Version Fortress Besieged

The English translator Catford published "Language Theory of Translation" in1965.Its core concept is "translation translation".He divides "translation conversion" into two categories: category conversion and level conversion.Among them,category conversion is divided into structure,unit,category,and system internal conversion.It is to explain the conversion phenomenon that occurs inside the sentence from aspects of part of speech,grammatical unit,sentence structure,etc.;level conversion involves two aspects of vocabulary and grammar Conversion.The classification of Catford’s translation conversion theory is objective,complete in frame and clear in concept,and has a great reference significance for guiding translation practice.In the novel "Fortress Besieged",the wording generally shows multi-level characteristics,the sentence structure is diverse,and the language expression is flexible.Therefore,this article takes the Uighur-translated version of "Fortress Besieged" as the research object,and uses Catford’s translation conversion theory as a theoretical reference.Syntactically,we will study the translation conversion methods in the Uighur-translated version of "Fortress Besieged".The thesis is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction.It first introduces the basis of the thesis selection,the significance and purpose of the research,secondly introduces the research status and application research of Catford’s translation conversion theory,and finally explains the thesis.Research methods;the second part gives an overview of the gradation conversion and category conversion in the translation conversion theory;the third part introduces the translation process of the novel "Fortress" from the two aspects of the noun "number,case" and the verb "time,body,state" In the fourth part,it analyzes the category conversion,unit conversion,sentence structure conversion and system internal conversion that appear in the novel "Fortress Besieged".In the fifth part,it appears the Uighur translation "Besieged".The translation conversion phenomenon is summarized.
