As far as the Creation of Chinese oil Painting Sketches is concerned,it is the need of Times and the Chinese traditional culture to draw lessons from the traditional painting of Song Dynasty.In this diversified development environment,the inheritance and development of traditional culture is more and more important for Chinese oil painting.With the development of the times and our society,the diversification of oil painting sketches ’ creation forms has provided a good opportunity for its development.The reference of contemporary Chinese oil painting sketches to the elements of Song Dynasty’s painting is mainly in the artistic conception,art of composition,pattern of manifestation and skills.The reference in the process of the evolution has experienced three stages which are the passive reference,the active reference and the reference to the elements of Song Dynasty’s painting.Some of the authorized representatives such as Matteo Ricci,Lang Shining,Xu Beihong,Wu Guanzhong,Liu Haisu,Hong Ling and Bai Yuping have been influenced by Chinese traditional culture,so that the consciously apply the elements of traditional Chinese painting in the creation of the painting sketch.Therefore,their works are full of Chinese traditional culture characteristics.This paper has made a primary research on the reference of Chinese oil painting sketches’ creation to Song Dynasty’s painting.This article mainly includes the definition of the concept of sketch drawing and the presentation of artistic features,the introduction of artistic characteristics of modern oil painting sketch and the analysis of Song Dynasty’s paintings like meaning,shape and view,as well as the exposition of the creation Chinese oil painting sketch to the specific reference of Song Dynasty’s paintings.This paper has a comparative perspective between the creation of Chinese oil painting sketches and the meaning,shape and view of Song Dynasty’s painting.From the point of Song Dynasty’s painting’s art language,art techniques,art image,art spirit,artistic space,artistic atmosphere,etc.,this paper ultilizes the approach of comparison,analysis and induction to discuss the reference of Chinese oil painting sketch to Song Dynasty’s painting’s elements.In order to make the foreshadowing for the research about the reference and to seek out and explore the traditional aesthetic conception of Song Dynasty’s painting and its affection to the creation of modern Chinese oil painting.The purpose of this paper is to better reflect the nationality,tradition and contemporaneity of the modern Chinese oil painting’s creation.The process of the creation of Chinese oil painting which draws lessons from the meaning,shape and view of Song Dynasty’s painting,is the transformation process of Chineseexcellent national culture,unique national aesthetic characteristics and national spiritual feelings to western art,and finally forms Chinese oil painting sketches with unique Chinese national,traditional and cultural characteristics.
