| With the acceleration of global economic development and the increasing frequency of international exchanges,the emergence of this situation will inevitably lead to the urgent need for high-level business English translation and communication talents.Higher vocational and technical colleges are an important platform for the cultivation of business English translation students.Their main task is to lead students and make them suit for the needs of social and economic development and let them have high professional level,interpreter quality and communicative competence.So the study of Translation Business English Teaching in Higher Vocational and Technical Colleges is a crucial subject.Thus,This study takes 15 business English teachers and a total of 300 students in J City A Higher Vocational and Technical Colleges as the research objects,and takes XX Normal College as the research base.It uses so many research methods,such as text analysis method,interview method,questionnaire survey method and Case study method.It is mainly used empirical research and supplemented by qualitative research.The results shows those following problems: the training plan of Business English Translation Teaching is not clear;the teaching method of Business English Translation is simple;the content of Business English Translation Teaching is out of job demands;Lacking of professional teaching materials for Business English Translation in Higher Vocational and Technical Colleges and so on.Based on this,the author puts forward the following suggestions in view of the problems and analyze the causes of these problems: Traditional teaching concept can not adapt to the needs and changes of the new era;Teaching method fails to highlight the characteristics of vocational education;Teachers are lack of concrete practical experience;The teaching evaluation system is not complete.Putting forward reform strategy: Setting up scientific teaching idea,carrying out effective teaching;Improving teaching methods and stimulating interest in learning;Integrating teaching content and building a complete system;Improving the teaching evaluation mechanism and promoting the improvement of teaching quality;Enhancing the teaching quality of teachers. |
