Self-View And Other-View: Based On The Investigation Of The Communication Of Chinese Village Culture In Short Videos

Nowadays,in addition to the televisions predominated in mass media,new media such as short videos have gradually entered every home in the village.The low threshold and the convenience of short videos transform the complex,serious and enormous village culture into a popular form.The villagers who have been sheltered in the past also have the opportunity to use the new media and have the right to speak.With the help of short video,villagers can express the village culture in their own eyes.But having the right to speak does not mean using the right.Some short video creators pick up the right to express from the perspective of "self",while other short video creators choose to put down their right to speak and cater to the imagination of the "other" to the village,shoot and disseminate from the perspective of "other".This paper analyzes the village culture of short videos from two perspectives to obtain the path of constructing village culture by participant observation and in-depth interview.It is found that the short videos of village culture expressed by "other" are the main force in the construction of village culture,while the short videos of village culture expressed by "self" are the record and inheritance of traditional village culture.At present,the construction of village culture presents a dynamic and diversified pattern.The introduction of this paper mainly presents the research background,research significance and purpose,and research methods.It sorts out the status quo of domestic research about village culture and short videos,and briefly introduces research methods,and research content.The first chapter introduces the village culture,short videos and the concepts of "self-view" and "other-view" as the logical starting point of the paper.The second chapter mainly analyzes the communicators,content,and audience of village culture short videos from the perspective of "self" and "other" in the 5W framework,summarizes the characteristics of village culture short videos,and interprets the communication process of village culture short videos from different perspectives and influence.The third chapter analyzes how to construct village culture from the perspective of "self" and "other".The fourth chapter points out the current problems of village culture short videos and gives countermeasures.The fifth chapter summarizes how the short videos of "self" expression and "other" expression construct a new village culture,and what are the similarities and differences,so as to answer the question of how to protect and inherit the village culture when the new media impacts the village culture.
