Research Of Relationships Between Social Support,Coping Style,Self-Efficacy And Employment Anxiety Among University Students | | Posted on:2022-10-14 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:S J Li | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2505306485981719 | Subject:Development and educational psychology | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | In recent years,as the scale of enrollment continues to expand,the number of university graduates has increased sharply,and job competition has become increasingly fierce.College students are facing severe employment pressure and employment anxiety due to stressful situations.Previous research results have shown that social support is an important factor affecting employment anxiety.Self-efficacy and college students’ coping styles when facing stressful situations all affect college students’ employment anxiety.Based on the existing research results,this study takes the perceived social support as independent variables,takes coping styles,self-efficacy as mediate variables,and employment anxiety as the dependent variable.We deeply explored the relationship between college students’ social support,coping styles,self-efficacy and employment,so that they can better achieve employment.This research used Social Support Rating Scale,Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire(SCSQ),General Self-Efficacy Scale(GSES),Employment Anxiety Questionnaire(EAQ)to conduct questionnaire survey among 684 university students.The findings are as follows:(1)College students’ social support,coping style,self-efficacy,and employment anxiety significantly varied across gender.(2)The social support perceived by college students will encourage them to adopt positive coping styles;negative coping styles significantly increase the employment anxiety of college students.(3)College students’ social support can alleviate the employment anxiety through the mediating effect of self-efficacy. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Social support, Coping styles, Self-efficacy, Employment anxiety | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
