| In order to implement the "Compulsory Education English Curriculum Standard(2011 Edition)"(hereinafter referred to as the " curriculum standard")better.For the objectives of English Curriculum in compulsory education stage---it should be oriented to all students and lay a good foundation for the development of students’ comprehensive language ability.And comply with the educational guidance of improving the quality of education and teaching,and promote the all-round development of students.We need to pay attention to every link in the teaching process.Among them,assignments is one of the important means to test and feedback the results of English education and teaching,and it is also an indispensable part in the process of improving the quality of education and teaching,so it is necessary to pay more attention to it.According to the problems reflected in daily teaching,through case analysis,questionnaire survey,literature research and other methods,combined with the survey results of the basic education investigation group of the Ministry of education,it is found that the current junior high school English assignments generally has many problems---large quantity,single form,lack of pertinence,and so on.It has a certain gap with the requirements of the new curriculum standard.In view of this,we need to try a new design path and explore new design mode of assignments.According to the cognitive learning theory and multiple intelligences theory,focusing on the core contents of attaching importance to individual subjective initiative,differentiation and cultivation of eight intelligences,this paper puts forward the idea of homework design,which aims to stimulate junior middle school students’ English initiative and enthusiasm,and takes the expansion and innovation of homework forms as the main body,In view of the current situation of English homework in junior middle school and the two problems of whether English homework based on cognitivism and multiple intelligences theory has the effect of promoting learning and its performance,this paper preliminarily forms the homework design scheme.By means of teacher interview and student questionnaire survey,this paper analyzes the application effect of the homework design scheme on the basis of the feedback on the practicability,acceptance,change curve of English single subject score,and the recognition of teachers.The results of teaching practice show that more than 70% of the students think that the new homework design has played a positive role in their English learning,and each subject teacher also gives a positive evaluation,and the students’ performance curve also shows an obvious upward trend.The basic conclusion is that the new English homework design scheme has a positive impact on the improvement of the quality of education and teaching,which is conducive to stimulate students’ English learning initiative,to the transformation from passive homework to active homework,to help students and teachers jointly reduce the burden,and then to improve the effectiveness of English teaching,to achieve the goal of the new curriculum standard. |
